Leaking Life of the Party is probably the biggest L that Drake has taken since the infamous story of adidon diss from Pusha T. I literally have no idea what Drake ate, drank or drug he used, thinking by leaking this song was a good idea and honestly believing this would make him look good when people are literally joking about Life of the Party is better than his album. And with that, I would say that Kanye won the beef.

Andre’s statement and HOW the song was released KINDA validates Kanye’s statement about Universal releasing DONDA without his permission. Especially since Dababy and Pusha’s verses weren’t also there and, most of all, what was released was a CLEAN album with cuss words blurted out instead of taken out entirely.

After Scorpion, I sorta gave up hope that Drake would release a halfway decent album. He clearly needs 1 or 2 songs to hit and that's basically it. He peaked in 2015-16 and just stopped trying.

I just feel dumb for buying into the hype that this was a new Drake and we were going to hear a new side of him. But no, it’s nothing we haven’t heard before. He’s 34 and talking about teenage romance type shit, got bodied by Pusha but acts like he’s the toughest person out there, says he has no friends but gladly surrounds himself with yes men and suits from the industry. This is why I’ll always have respect for guys like The Weeknd and Tyler who made it to the top but still tried experimenting and playing around with different styles knowing that they could have lost fans for departing from the sound that made them famous. Feels like this is going to be the slow death of Drakes career from an artistic standpoint. He’s still going to be rich, famous and relevant cause he’s just too big. But I only expect the music to keep getting more stale. As long as there are depressed 14 year old girls and wanna be tough guys, Drake will be around…

@@AutosportDesign I agree on almost everything you stated but I gotta disagree a bit on the trying diff styles. I really enjoyed Views because of the fact that he accumulated a few genres and the album as a whole worked. People might say they hate it but I feel he emulated Toronto through sound, which is a city with different cultures. He tried afrobeats, a Carribean vibe, Pop, hip-hop, his regular shit too. Not saying its the best thing but I gotta give credit where its due. Also More Life a bit but it didn't have as much direction as Views. That being said, rn I feel he has a formula and is sticking to it; making music for mainstream approval.

Found the Life of the Party track about 2-3 years ago from my buddy who actually worked with Drake during his work of CLB. This song was supposed to be a complete secret to the public, since the song foreshadows lots of things about Kanye’s struggles with his life and all of these tangents of possibilities and avenues that Kanye could take. Had this been released two or so years ago, there would most likely be a shorter version of BOTH of these albums today, and they would have been released around late 2019. Either way, Andre has unlocked a new tier of godliness.

I feel like the only real way this is in Drake's favor is that the song makes Kanye look like a real ass, considering Andre's heartfelt verse was put next to a dumb Drake diss to fuel this petty fight that really does not matter at all. Maybe Kanye ultimately decided not to release the song in the first place because of how his verse looked next to Andre's (and the whole wanting to "keep the album clean" or whatever) but it's bizarre he was considering it in the first place. You've got Andre 3000 on a song, don't waste that by tying him to this stupid feud!

I think though, that Kanye and Andre both are getting their emotion from the same place, just expressed in their different ways. I agree with you in what Drake was trying to do, but when you compare it to CLB, it makes Drake look pretty pathetic in that a lot of people think it's better, and that he failed a cheap shot. If you ask me, he's shot himself in the foot.

This song had a different verse that was more on theme when he previewed it at the very first listening party in Vegas. Andre said the track didn’t have any diss when he originally got it but because Andre 3000 was cursing in his verse Kanye held off on adding it and Andre said they were gonna rework the verses to be more fitting without cursing. I’m assuming that Kanye at some point after he dropped Donda wrote and recorded the “diss” verse but didn’t drop it. I think he was holding it if drake had any words to say on his record. But drake leaked it.

I think Drake gets overhyped as being "about the streets". he was an actor who played fuckin Wheelchair Jimmy, started his music career as a teen heartthrob, called his album "Certified Lover Boy" at 34. Kanye doesn't act like he's a gangster, even says that he's not, but he's got people in his corner like Pusha T or Jay-Z

Listen to the lyrics. It was very heartfelt. He already did a song about his Mom and it was better than Andres verse. Hey Mama. He did the song about his family now and it was beautiful. Andre did basic poetry. Kanye’s verse was much better. His diss verse and OG verse

Andres verse was good, but imma keep it 100, I knew it was gonna be, and it didn't disappoint. But to be honest it's the X outro for me, when it comes on its hard not to shed a tear or feel real emotions. What's crazy it's even deeper than sadness and grief. It hurts knowing he's gone and I know it's so much worse for her. The man was there for her and comforted her in her fear and worries. And as a DMX fan he's done the same for me and probably you through his music and his life. Proved that through all the bad hardships, trails, lessons and hiccups you can not only bounce back but come back harder and better than before. Earl was the grand champ, a loving father, and a wise son of the lord. I hope I'm able to fly with yall when I'm finished here. Rest easy Darkman.

I'm a bit drunk, so take this with a grain of salt. I have never liked Kanye; too much narcissism for my taste. However, I have much more respect for him than Drake because regardless of his political affiliation or personal viewpoint because he feels more raw and open as opposed to Drake who just feels like an a.i. going through the motions to make hits. One is a true artist, the other is an algorithmic parasite. Take Care was IMO the only good album Drake has ever released.

Lost a lot of respect for Drake and Kanye after hearing how sincere and honest Andre's verse was on the leak. Totally selfish for both of them to drag him into a spotlight he was wanting to avoid in the first place. No cap detected in this review. At all. I heard the beat and Andre and my heart cried. Ye rapping is always a pleasure to me. How u get so much emotions off of this track and Donda in general is incredible to me. Drake wanted to show the world, hey kanye dissed me first, here's the proof, I'm the good guy, thats why I dissed him so much on my album. But it backfired. And he actually rewrote 3 songs about Ye in this album, instead of focusing on making his album better. Make it make sense 💀🤦🏽‍♀️
