The best sounding small engine

5 жыл бұрынI finally got the chance to run the Yanmar 3TG66UJ in my 322 at full load using the model 47 snowblower. The only small engine I’ve ever heard that sounds as good is the Honda GX640. Both are very unique in their sound.

It is a great sounding engine, just wish mine was running right now!! Crapped out week before the 2022 blizzard here in MA! bad coil, new on order.

That 3TG sounds great, but I still think the Onan P series sound the best under a load.

Oh, and more weight in the back really makes a difference with that big chest freezer hanging off the front. Beet juice wasn't readily available around here but I found a stash of used 70 pound suitcase weights on a pallet in a dealer's yard. So I have 6 70 pounders on the rear weight bracket plus a set of wheel weights...
