2 28oz cans of Bush Baked Beans
1 onion
1 green bell pepper
1/3 cuo brown sugar
Mustard
BBQ Sauce
6 slices of cooked bacon you can add more
cooked covered 1 hr on 350 and take cover off stir and see if you want to cook uncovered

I never put meat in my beans. Gotta try this. Maybe put a little dry powdered mustard & a splash of vinegar in mine. Keep on cooking babe!

I make this exact recipe the only difference is I add bacon on top and I use pork n beans instead of baked beans! Soooo Yummy

Have mercy…..your BBQ beans were called “ Bean Mess “ in a 1960’s cookbook called “ I hate to cook “ and no I’m not kidding . I raised 6 kids who loved bean mess….I used Worcestershire sauce in mine…( truth is you a add most anything and she’s always cute and so mouth watering good!!)
