MPC One owners, the Big Boy stand will NOT interfere with the SD card slot and the MPC One fits perfectly on it.

Thanks for the video Sight. I just ordered the KickStand. I like the fact that if you have it collapsed it doesn't wobble and the angle it props it up at won't obscure my view of my monitor if I am using it in controller mode. Not to mention it is cheap.

@@Bellyheart I run it at a pretty sharp angle at times, but I wouldn't go past 45 just because tapping can bounce the backend off. You can easily put velcro on the base and MPC though and it won't go anywhere.

Awesome video I like the sit stand configuration. at the moment for my MPC live I use the cream café stand I don’t know if you’ve seen those but they make some great wooden stands for your hardware.

I know im a couple days late commenting but I literally just got my Live II on Friday and was looking for looking at some options for a stand and this video popped a day or 2 later! I ordered the Skiis at first but changed my mind and ordered the Big Boy and I tried to cancel ended up getting both and I liked them so much I ended up keeping them lol. Perfect fit on both! I did get the BigBoy stand after seeing this video.. I like it but on the X its not really big enough IMO... it should be a little wider... it's a little wobbly/shaky but it holds its position and tilt very well... thanks for the work that you out in and the videos that you put out for us!!!

I like the ski version and I am going to buy similar one in next week for my MPC ONE+. I like the idea it is turdy and I can put it on bag and take with me anywhere. The good case is second thing I am looking for. To put MPC with all the power adapter and keep safe and good looking.

You can't lose either one since the workflow is the same. Live just makes portability an easy option. If you're always in your own studio, the One should cover all the bases. If you plan to do more live performances or like to use your laptop all over your house, the Live is super dope

The Big Boy, would probably be perfect for the MPC One... The stand I have works perfect for just sitting on desk but the big boy like you said would be easy to throw a keyboard under it OR.. sit in bed with the base between your legs and the mpc elevated...that might be dope.. great video.. much respect ✊🏽

Absolutely bro. The thing I missed in this video is that the kickstand took away a lot of the surface contact that the skis and the big boy would normally have so they weren't as sturdy in the video as they would be without having it attached. I should probably take it off.

Thanks again, for another informative MPC video!! Do you know if any of those stands would work with the Renaissance? Yes, I'm still rocking that for now for the Studio. I have been using a plastic part of a shelf frame, and it gives me about 1 1/2" - 25 degree angle... Works alright, but tends to slide and I would like more angle options. Thanks.

The "big boy" stand is better than even the Analog Cases "XTS" stand imo, bc of it's "clearance/adjustability!" When I see BoloDaProducer use the XTS stand, I always say to myself..."dang....the clearance is super tight for his mpk mini plus."

Yo thanks for this man! About to cop the kickstand now with your link. On a different tip: one of the things I was really looking forward to with the Live 2 was the ability to set up shop random places and record myself playing guitar direct or hand percussion through an SM57, and I'm disappointed that the Live 2 doesn't have a preamp. Do you have any ideas for something portable and battery-powered that would work for both of those scenarios? I have the Tascam iXZ, but I'm waiting on a 3.5 to 1/4 mono adapter to get here (tried it with stereo adapter and that didn't work). Thanks for your channel fam!

I would recommend getting a portable recorder like the Zoom H4 or something similar so you can use it as a preamp and record your performances if you want to share to social media or KZfaq etc. Most bang for your buck in my opinion especially if you get one used on eBay or Facebook Marketplace

What is the main difference between the “Big Boy” stand and the “My favorite MPC stand” you have listed in the description section? I’ve had the ski stand for a hot minute now and it works great! Very interested in the big boy stand though because of the added space underneath.

I know it can handle the weight. I can't remember how far back the 2000 goes though. I would give it a shot. If you have Prime you can always return it.

I haven't tested it with the One. If you have a minute jump into the MPC Gang group on FB and ask. A lot of guys have it with the One in there.

the bigboy one looks like it might loosen up one day from folding open and closed again and again (e.g. when you tour)

I don't think so bro. I've been using it constantly for a year and change and whatever friction mechanism they use is really solid. I think it's built to hold much heavier stuff than these units. The thing is a tank.

5:18 to much wobble. 8:04 is shakey too. All of them are shaky bro. Have you seen the wood racks for MPC's? Those don't wobble at all!

It also holds my old, heavy macbook pro without a problem and lots of guys in the Facebook MPC Gang group think it's perfect (probably even better) for the One.
