Another thing that will help speed this process up is planting the crops in the biome they like the most. You'll know you're in the right place when the seeds have a green upwards arrow on them when you try to plant them.

If you trap your gardening buddy and put a fence around them they will not drop all of their rewards until you free them

Tips when you first start 1. Move your house to the pond that way if you need to get up your energy you can just walk into your house and walk out. 2. Move all fruit bushes apples,berry's and banana to the same area so you can use them to get energy up fast for gardening or fishing. 3. Move goofy cart next to your house it will make it easier to see carrots or fish really fast and make money. 4. Buy carrots from goofy after upgrading his stall once they sell for 44 gold each day you buy 250 of them you make around 11k not as much as you would the pumpkin's way but it's a start. 5. Take your time level up yourself Mickey and goofy in garden and fishing as your hanging out with them there no hurry to rush though the game enjoy it.

With the digging, if u don’t play for a whole day and if there r now crops currently in the soil, the soil patch goes away

Canola's not a bad place to start leading up to this; haven't unlocked this area of the map yet myself, but I have decent profits with a Canola farm thus far. Requires a bit more active effort, taking just over 30 minutes to grow rather than hours and need to be watered a couple more times, but it's a stepping stone on the way to practically afk farming with pumpkins here.

Okay so pro tips #1 Merlin is a great starting Gardener because he doesnt need to be on top of where the crops are to pull the extra crops he uses long range magic. #2 grow pumpkins in the forsaken land and they only need to be watered once and they take about 3 and a half hours to grow instead of 4. #3 if you're in the forsaken land I'm sure you have all the other characters and their roles stack so if you have say 10 gardeners you will get an excessive amount of extra crops. #4 if you dont have a digger and you havent unlocked Maui hes an excellent choice for digger because he upgrades your pickaxe hes a large sometime immovable object and will get you stuck if he is anything else. Also if hes digger he will get fast friendship levels from digging a farm in the forsaken lands. Just move your house to the biome so you can recover make food and all that find an area that will give you plenty of space and make a 500 block pumpkin farm.

if you want a quicker way, instead of waiting every 4 hours for the pumpkins. Once you get the level 10 quest done from Kristoff, he'll sell you coal. And then you can buy the ingredients from Remy's Restaurant to make infinite amounts of Soufflé's. Tedious but sometimes it beats having to wait if you're in need of money or good 5 star food.

If you have extra coal to use up, cook and sell Pumpkin Puffs - 1 pumpkin + 1 egg + 1 cheese. They sell for 1489 coins which is 814 profit per puff after the cost of seeds/ingredients. Happy Farming!

Hi! Found your channel today! Subbed! I'm thoroughly addicted, but I learned some tricks you might wanna share: 1- You can move EVERYTHING in the game, furniture wise. Trees, rocks, etc. Anything that can't be destroyed via harvesting. 2- This means you can make really large farm plots! 3- While crops can be grown anywhere, they do prefer the areas where they are bought. Carrots in the meadow, tomatoes on the beach, etc. You can check by trying to plant a seed, and if it shows a green arrow, it means it is optimal. 4- You can relocate all of your fruit trees and bushes too! Put them in a convenient spot to make an orchard!

Damn you’re growing crazy fast with this game.

I dug my garden in the meadows lol (plenty of space). I saw someone mention the house, but honestly I just place fruitrees and berry bushes around the area, so I can double dip the experience points + frienship level while I work with the companion.

Hi, nice video. I prefer the Okra since it only needs to get watered once. And I have another little Trick/Video Idea (I'm way too lazy to do it myself 😁): It is possible to move the wells as fast travel spot. It is also possible to move them behind a barrier like the big pile of mushrooms. That way, you don't need to unlock the extra tools to go there. That is useful, e.g. you need a lot of iron, but you only unlocked one area. The only condition is, you need the well of the area where you want to do this trick. Of course this might get fixed one day, but for now it can help someone.

Well I haven’t got pumpkins yet but I love Okra! Just water it once and it’s done it two hours or less if you plant it in the biome you bought it from. It makes plenty enough for me to clear Scrooges Store out daily and upgrade things when I need. I feel like when I get pumpkins I’m gonna still end up sticking with Okra as I just don’t like having to water the plants more than once.

Buy 300 seeds, and dig up a plot 10x15. You can farm 150 pumpkins at a time. (Or set up a 20x15 plot or 2 10x15 plots)

If you want to some fun magic in the game wall off your gardening buddy, harvest everything then release your buddy, then watch the fire works.

I know this video is older but a really good tip for farming those gold crops that you can harvest multiple times. If you’re harvesting multiple crops at once and a gold one pops up stop pressing the button after the gold one spawns your character will stop right on top of the gold crop and that’s when you just harvest away 😊

If you wanting to get even richer then that and have already invested in growing the pumpkins and are willing to invest a bit more time. Craft Pumpkin Puffs, They require 1 pumpkin, 1 eggs, 1 cheese. They sell for 1489. Growing Pumpkins and selling them nets you a profit of 389 per pumpkin while Pumpkin Puffs will get you 809.

I think tomatoes are a better cash crop. You get triple every item without even equipping your Gardening Buddy.

This what I have been doing. It’s great. Supposedly they grow better in the forgotten lands though. Also planting that many at the same time isn’t a great idea for some people. I’m on switch and I had so many plants going at once and it made my game crash like crazy. So I’d say if you’re on switch try to keep it to about 200 or under total plants growing/grown at the same time.
