Sugar is foundational to life and provides energy, but refined/processed sugars can damage our health. This Guide to Sugar helps you understand both sides of the sugar debate while helping your decide the best sugar to use, for your family, and in each situation.
In this episode, I'm talking with David Stelzer, founder and CEO of Azure Standard about why Azure does not carry conventional refined white sugar (it's insane really).
And I'm picking David's brain about every detail of all the sweetener options that I might choose .
David dives into why conventional sugar production utilizes damaging practices like glyphosate spraying, artificial fertilizers, and burning leaves.
We talk about how Azure Standard aims to maintain a higher standard and not compromise on questionable ingredients. -
David explains why it's best to transition your family's diet through a progression, not radical changes. And he describes how Azure carries products to help folks transition from standard American diet to healthier options.

While this is excellent information and I greatly appreciate it, I can’t help but question glyphosate versus glysophate that David continually refers to. I’m a customer and a HUGE Azure Standard fan.

I tried Azure about 2 yrs ago and ordered olive oil. When we got it, it did not look like good olive oil at all. So have been afraid to ordered anything. We did order some wheat berries but again not sure they are really organic. Wish there was a better way to know for sure because I think could be a good thing.

i'm genuinely suprized that your products were so subpar. They're customer service is top-notch. I'm sure they would have made things right if you had problems. I would definitely encourage you to try again. I genuinely love Azure. I rely a LOT less on the grocery store these days.

I was put off when I got my olive oil and it was greenish and hard. After doing research, I learned that’s how one can tell it’s real olive oil and was then impressed. They grow a lot of the grains themselves.

@@brandynash1409 Yes, their my #1 source for all my wheat berries. That's how they got started as a family farm. And yes, I felt the same way about my avacado oil the first time. It came in the cold area of the truck and was light green and solid looking. But I LOVE their avacado oil
