So stoked for you. The 'morning' sickness is awful especially when you feel sick but can't be sick. My son's pregnancy was like that for me. I started feeling like that 3 months before we got pregnant. I was nauseated for the 1st 6 months and then got a 3 week break before being nauseated 24/7 the last 6 weeks. Diclegis literally saved my bacon. I was able to think clearly and eat which helped so much. Our best results were to take the Rx at night and then drink 2 24 ounce waters upon waking at like 8:30. Then I'd eat lunch at 11:45. I'd have eggs with cheese, sausage, and toast. If I kept that down I'd have a bowl of fruit 90 minutes later. Then we'd eat dinner at like 7. We'd have snacks as needed throughout the afternoon if I could stomach it. Worked enough to keep him healthy and me from gaining or losing weight.

Morning sickness sucks! Especially since it's not just morning sickness but all day sickness, literally for me I was still throwing up while in labor with my first. So excited for you 🤩 rest, nap, water, and the motion sickness bands that go around your wrist on the pressure points helped me! Also unisom and vitamin B6 at night and take the prenatal at night too so it doesn't mess with your tummy. Baths are safe and help with pains. You're a short woman like me and I swear I lived in the bath, sometimes multiple a day.

OMG, how exciting!!! How fortunate that it happened so quickly. I'm thrilled for you both. Mykayla, I was sick the entire nine months of my first pregnancy. One thing that helped was eating lemons. It was a suggestion from a friend and I thought it was crazy but it totally worked for me. I ended up carrying lemons around with me all the time and whenever I had nausea, I'd slice one open and squeeze some lemon juice. Yea, it's sour but totally worth it for the nausea relief. Losing eleven pounds is a lot. I only lost six my first trimester and I'm taller than you. I had to drink Ensure twice a day during the last trimester in order to gain enough for the baby. I now have other means of getting those nutrients in that aren't as bad for the body as Ensure (a smoothie with assorted, properly soaked seeds, cacao butter, avocado oil, almond butter, fruit, coconut cream and juice or coconut milk.) I am a Grandma now, woohoo!!! I wish you the best of luck and a beautiful healthy baby and many more in the future. You've got this! Jona's reaction was pretty normal. You had all day to process an enormous amount of feelings and he didn't, lol. Men see this as an huge responsbility and are immediately worried about your health, the baby's health and providing for your entire futures! It's a lot. It'll be OK.

Congratulations! I'm so sorry you've been so sick. I also had Hyperemesis Gravidarum. They don't know for sure what causes HG in some women but there are some ideas it could be from the H. Pylori bacteria or Magnesium deficiency. For me, Dead Sea Salt baths and spray, and high magnesium foods helped some. I didn't learn this until my 3rd baby, and between 3 and 4 I really worked at getting more Magnesium in my diet. my 4th baby was the only one that I wasn't vomiting all day, so I think that was part of it for me. I hope you're doing better now and we will be praying for you.

Honey, I had morning sickness 24/7 with my first. My toilet knew my face better than my other end. I also ran a low blood sugar with it so I would throw up and then pass out, wake up and go to work. I was an OR nurse, so if I felt like I was going to throw up, I would step into the corner with a bucket and call for someone to come and relieve me so I could throw up. I had that for 6 and 1/2 months and I delivered at 7 1/2 months.

Get a lemon. Score the lemon with a knife. When you feel nauseous, smell the lemon. It really helps with nausea.
