It must be so hard, I know she explains that both her parent are deaf. I remember watching a video that she explained that it’s sad that they can’t hear her sing! She has such a beautiful voice❤

Taylor once mentioned during her reputation tour, whatever production she added and whatever melody she use for her songs, she wants them to be able to be broken down and still resonates within the listeners. Her lyricism is second to none.

Daniel Seavey is a musician, he was in a band called Why Don't We but they recently went their seperate ways due to some legal issues they were going through with their management. Also, I love Alfie, he is incredible and releasing a song called Spiderwebs on the 9th of December. Highly recommend.

well, if you wanna hear from him, you can listen to his debut song "can we pretend that we're good?" or a song he wrote for his mom called "bleed on me", or other stuff he made with a band (yep he's def in a band) called why don't we! he's in it with 4 other talented dudes and they were supposed to go on tour this year but it was cancelled for legal reasons (and by that, i meant their lawsuit battle with their manager, david loefler whatever his last name's spelled, he's such a douchebag, so they had to go on a hiatus)

I’ve missed acoustic Taylor songs so much, folklore really was what I was looking for. Midnights has something that clearly defines it to be Taylor’s album but something stopped be from placing it too high. 3:22 is exactly what I’d been hoping to get a sound of and wow, I really need acoustic versions of some of the songs now 😭 Her voice is so raw and matched so well with the song too. Also, hellooo Tristan :] Hope you’re doing well (you look rly tired lol, get some rest). My usual recommendations would be umm Jungkook’s ‘Dreamers’. It’s a Fifa World Cup soundtrack ft. Fahad Al Kubaisa, has a different vibe to what’s usual and there’s an amazing live performance up too. Jin’s live performance of The Astronaut with Coldplay also worth checking out

no because taylor's lyricism is absolutely fabulous but i HATE the way she produces her music! i loved folklore and evermore because the songs were mostly acoustic with little production on them, and i was looking forward to this album but then i listened to it and couldn't get through it! i thought i just didn't like the songs, but hearing them broken down in these covers makes me love them!!

I know what you mean. Even tho I loved midnights, I actually realised watching these covers that the songs I liked the most were the ones with the least production and were the most "singable." But hearing how some people re-interpreted them and broke them down made me like the songwriting a lot more
