put some low expansion spray foam in behind that steel wool. that will really seal it up.

When u go away from the trailer, what do u do with Benny? Does he come along, or stay at the trailer? We want to bring our cat with us when we start to travel but I’m anxious about leaving her by herself at the trailer! Your thoughts?

Benny prefers to stay at the trailer and he does great. It's just like being at home for him when we go out for a few hours. If the weather is going to get pretty warm we are more cautious, but overall he's quite happy in there.
