Hope you don't mind my off topic question but what was the water temperature like when you were in the Bay of conception Baja California. They say it's 85° but I don't believe it. I was really hoping you get some shots of dolphins with that feeder. Wait till a black bear smells that strawberry.
@HomeARoam3 сағат бұрын
Bay of concepción was far from 85°F when we were there in the winter months. That may be the temperatures during the summer, but it was chilly when we were there. Cold enough for Mel to wear her wetsuit and still get cold after 30 minutes. Jay is a little more cold tolerant, but even he got cold after a while.

voltage is better equated to the pressure of the water, and amperage is more related to flow. Voltage is the potential energy that could push the electrons, amperage is the rate at which the electrons are moving.

Our sugar water feeder attracted a couple of Hummingbirds and the Bananaquits (we are in St. Kitts in the Eastern Caribbean). However we now have a plague of bees. They hog the feeding holes and chase away the birds!.We had to get flowers with smaller holes because the bees got in and drowned themselves by the dozen!
@HomeARoam3 күн бұрын
Oh wow! That's not a consequence we would have imagined, but it makes sense especially in a hot climate such as St.Kitts.

Hello my husband and I are planing to take this trip next year and our question is what size is your trailer.
@HomeARoam3 күн бұрын
Hi! That's awesome! We hope you have a wonderful time. We loved Baja so much. Our trailer was 25' bumper to hitch and once on the truck we were about 41' long total. We saw rigs of all sizes on our journey, but the smaller ones had a much easier time getting around. In fact, that trip is what inspired us to consider getting a class b camper van, which is what we are currently looking to buy.

I do not want any of my mail going to any of my siblings or anyone’s because I have Social Security and I have banking and I do not want just anybody getting into that stuff. So how do I set up system? That’ll work with the IRS, Social Security and pension, drivers license, etc.

Not 100% related to boondocking, but if you look up "virtual address" you will find some companies that offer this service. Can't recommend any specific ones since we don't have experience with that unfortunately.

10 bucks says they claim it was cancelled for safety reasons in order to avoid paying out what they are required under the Passenger Protection Regulations. Had a similar experience with Flair - at least with the other airlines, if it is cancelled there will likely be another flight within a reasonable time. With Flair you could be stranded for days.

How's it going eh. Apparently you didn't think this out. First you should have bought the USA version of Starlink. You could have set up a US post office box or a UPS postal address in the state you are visiting. Have the unit shipped there. Then run the US version. Sometimes you have to think out of the box if you want to get something done.

@HomeARoam10 күн бұрын
Cats can take a long time to adjust to change. Benny took a solid few weeks to get comfortable in the trailer, but then a few years to be comfortable enough to sit by the screen door and not be scared away by something moving outside, which he still is sometimes. There is a great resource called adventure cats that has lots of tips: www.adventurecats.org/backcountry-basics/3-essential-steps-make-your-cat-adventure-cat/
