What’s up guys, in this video I review the Titan Fitness Hex Trap Bar! I think the Titan Fitness Hex Trap Bar is the best Trap bar for most people. This version is a rackable trap bar and weighs 60lbs. This hex trap bar can hold 810lbs, for a total of 870lbs including the bars weight. It has the raised handles option with knurling and 22” space between the trap bar handles.
This Hex Trap Bar by Titan Fitness is comparable to the Rogue TB-2 Trap bar. The Rogue Fitness trap bar is very nice also, but not rackable and more spendy.
If you can’t lift more then 545lbs Titan Fitness also has a smaller Hex Weight Bar that is half the price, but not rackable. I also mentioned a few other great options in this video and put a link above in the description.

Found a cheap one despite the lockdown... it's not bad but the sleeves are short and i could only get bumper plates, which are wider. It's good enough for now. Titan looks good. PS, use a 5 lb plate etc and roll your bar onto them as a lift to load the plates on floor.

I get what your saying now. Once you have your first two 45lb plates on, just set them on some small plates so it’s not hard to slide the rest on. That’s pretty smart and I’ve never actually done that. Not quiet as nice as being able to rack it, especially for shrugs but much better then flat on the floor. Thanks for bringing that to my attention

You ever had any issues with missing pieces ordering a product from Titan? Received the Lat Tower this past week and it was missing two pieces that are vital to finish building it.

I haven’t, but I’ve heard a lot of people have had that issue. They are usually pretty good at sending a replacement though

Awesome review Matt. You mentioned the bar has a medium knurling. Have you ever had any grip issues?

Hi Matt..I also have the Inspire FT2..is there a way to rig up something/handles, etc.. that would replicate this trap bar?

There are a few ways to work trap with the Inspire Ft2. You can use the smith bar or straight bar connected to the 2 front pulleys. You could also lower the 2 front pulleys to the bottom and attach the D handles, stand infront of it and do shrugs.

@@MattTolbersThanks Matt..I've rigged up the D handles to the 2 side bars..a bit kludgy but 'any port in a storm' I guess. If someone wanted to make a trap bar for our FT2 type of set up they' probably sell like hot cake$$

I fckn bought the 33in Papababe one off of amazon because the Titan Fitness V2 was out of stock... but I didn't realize the grips were so wide apart!!!!! Now I have to look to sell it.....

@@MattTolbers I actually ordered the Titan v2 about 2 hours ago lol. Still have yet to put up the other one for sale. The wide grip one is actually decent, but I'm not built for that lol.

Perfect width for shrugs. I have no problem doing deadlifts with it, but if you need a wide stance it might not work best for you.

Titans welds are horrible, almost offensive..Btw I have the x2 rack with westside spacing and its almost identical to the rogue at my station.

Nice bro! Yeah Titan is know for sloppy welds, but personally doesn't bother me much. The price difference makes up for it.
