i just bought the core home based on a couple vids and i was committed to the 552 for the last year... so that's worth a like

holy shit.. i almost bought a 552... Core Home for the win. I love KZfaq...

Unfortunately, they jacked up the price from $299 to $399. I was able to get it last year before the hike. As someone that recently started lifting, I thought this 55 lb dumbbell will be overkill but nope. Progressed pretty quickly. Went from 130 lbs @ 5'7 to 160 lbs in about 13 months and I'm able to press the 55 lbs. If you're thinking this is too heavy, you will be able to max it fairly quickly. I chose this one because of the 2.5 lbs (mostly) increment which is a lot easier to progress than other brands that does 5 lbs. The only thing I dislike is the uneven distribution of weight like this video pointed out. Make sure you don't press the db upside down.

Your setup to get heat to the car side of the garage would work better if you had a second man door or window with a fan blowing back towards gym would get that heat over there 10 times better.

Great video. Couldn’t figure out the leg extension and cable hookups. I just had knee surgery and didn’t want the cable to come lose. A better design would be a closed connection without having to go around the tube before connecting

I ordered the smallest one before looking at all the videos. I’m 6’2. But I’ll just use it for a bit and see how it goes. Just doing some easy workouts. I’ll probably invest in the big one after. Very nice video 🙌🏾

Hi Matt, Can you tell me please whether this 2000 XL bench can stand upright when folded (am guessing it must be leaned against a wall or stabilized at the bottom)? Also what is the height both with and without the leg attachment, when folded and rested horizontally? I live in sm studio and need to make sure it will fit. Good news, as of 10/31/23, Amazon has dropped the price to $140.
