This is one of the best mounts systems I have used in a vehicle, Would this type of mount work for your radio needs?

Ok I just ordered one for my wife's Tacoma. I'll get the truck as a handme down in year or so. I hope we keep the truck. It's been a lemon so far.

This looks like a great product! But they don't make anything to fit my old truck.

Interesting video, finding hardware for me changed when I discovered RAM MOUNTS which are an USA based company I believe and I would say the mounts you have shown are similar. So for example the 480 head unit I felt you over complicated the fact you had to fabricate the l bracket when ram mount do several brackets that could be used to fit and are all adjustable as I also have the 480 head mounted in my car. Ram Mounts do the track system, they do systems that fit on the chair bolts and can support laptops and radio equipment. Anyways I hope you don't take offense at my comment, I am sure you know all about RAM MOUNTS. 73 Duncan
