I think language is much easier to get a 6 , in contrast to literature. However if you get a 6 in literature it look much more sophisticated.

Your videos have been really helpful, you explain everything really good and I don't really understood anyone as much as you. Is this a better way to remember the structure. PEEECS Point, Evidence, Explain, Evidence ( from the other poem), Compare ( differences and similarities), Summarise ( which poet did it better).

Dunno how to explain but hope this makes sense Para 1: thesis statement answering the question i.e. Both ozymandias and storm on the island show the power of nature being presented as a malevolent force. Para2. Analyse ozy. And compare Para 3. Analyse ozy and compare Para 4. Analyse ozy and compare. Para 5. Short conclusions P. S. In para 2,3,4 have atleats 2 quotes one to support ur statement wuth ozy and one to support storm on th island. If not para phrases can be used.

If you group them in the group's he said, you can learn only 8 and analyse the other one in the test and compare to the one you learnt that's in the same group.

Omg thanks soo much for the tips!! I usually did three/more paragraphs on each one separately!! My fear is that comparing both poems in 1 paragraph/ more ..wouldn't the paragraphs be a bit too big.. seeing as we have to analyse and stuff? Does the size of the paragraph matter?? Xxxxx

anon i go to heathlands school in london, and they have an advanced physics programme which i was forced to do 😭 the programme is basically for “smart people”. ughhh if only i didn’t get such good grades in year 9, i wouldn’t have to do quantum mechanics (quantum mechanics is a type of physics btw)

@@jejepalmer nope, nothings worse than memorising details of 15 poems, arriving to the exam, realise you have to forget everything you learnt about 13 of the poems and write about just two. Next, start looking at "interpretations" i.e what the author didn't mean but you still have to write about anyways. fuck poetry.
