The BEST way to explore ZION National Park! RV living at ZION!

Күн бұрынDuring our RV Camping trip at Zion National Park we really wanted to get out and explore it more. Zion Bike rentals are so common and made the perfect get around option fot us. We rented one Electric Bike with a child seat and then one regular ol' bike to save a little money and get the workout in. Zion National Park is amazing and this is definitely the best way to see it all!
Zion is our 7th USA national park on our USA RV travels and it hasn't disappointed. This while RV living adventure has been great and we've loved seeing all of these amazing areas. All our kids and grandkids have loved riding in the child bicycle seat. In 1979, we installed the 1st child bicycle seat on my Schwinn 10-speed bicycle I bought in 1973 with babysitting money. I still have the Schwinn bicycle, but will need a new child seat for grandbaby #5 who is now 3 months old. I wish I had an odometer to see how many miles I have put on the old bike, which by the way, is in near perfect condition because I never left it outside. So glad you got to experience such an epic ride.

It was great getting around on the bikes and being able to stop. With the whole roadway open to explore and enjoy the areas it makes for the perfect spot and way to see all of Zion. Chloe loves it too! Sounds like you guys have got a good thing going with that bike. We haven't owned any in a long time but that goes to show buy a nice one and care for it and it you can sure get your money's worth and memories off of it. We've talked about it now but still haven't decided what we want to do yet about space etc. Someday haha!😁🍁

That looks like so much fun! Getting 1 ebike and one regular is brilliant. You were able to share and it looks like you had a much easier access to the best places. I’ll remember this when I go to Zion. 😀

They were great to look around for sure even if a bit expensive. At least one non electric bike saved some money and allowed us to have a little extra to have some good and get a workout in haha 🙂🍁

We wanted to rent some bikes in Banff and they were around $95 so we were like, nope 😂 you guys looked like you had fun on the bike! great video.

Yeah rough right. Definitely not our normal thing to do but it did make seeing zion and getting around nice since we likely won't be back too soon. They sure must make there money's worth of those bikes though🍁

I guess you could say that it's a little strange how low the crime rate is still in some rural areas that more things are still a honor system.

What an awesome way to see the park! You guys always make great plans. My dream is to get an e bike (three wheeler) 😊. Love how Chloe is up for every adventure, too cute!

Hey Lori! It all just lined up and worked out well thankfully! Not something we normally spend that kind of money on but when in Rome right haha. Sounds like a fun electric bike plan for yourself too. They seem like such a fun easy way to get around quick without getting gas and parking hassles. Also it's just fun to be out in the fresh air cruising around sometime. Sure your mountain town would be a fun area to explore 😄🍁

You 2 should invest in a couple of ebikes and bring them with you. They make some really compact ones now that fold up.

That sure would be nice. The more mobile we could be the more we could see and explore each area for sure. And they'd be fun! The truck has helped with some of the mobility vs a motorhome but bikes sure would've been nice to own long ago. Perhaps someday!🙂🍁

You said it was a fun bike ride, but what did you think of the ebike with pedal assist? Do you think you would want one?

The bike was pretty awesome. We did enjoy the regular one for a bit of exercise and classic feel but if you were wanting it as a form of transportation the electric assist sure zoomed you around nicely!🍁
