I cant speak for your corys specifically but i would lower the light, add sand substrate and places for them to hide to help lower stress levels. Might help speed up recovery time? I hit sub button. :D

Bottom dwelling fish like corys may sometimes get stressed out when there is no substrate or a blacked out bottom. I don't know if this is causing the casualties but I think it's worth a try :)

I feel that ember tetras are being massed produced now like neon tetras, I even noticed that they are prone to melanoma(did some digging through forums, and that corrects my beliefs). If fish are gonna be bred they need to be our crossed with new blood as often as possible, I don’t get why fish farmers haven’t learned this yet. Anyways, I’m on your website eyeballing some of the chili rasboras and kuhli loaches. I got a 20g long that needs to be setup soon.

just ordered some pea puffers from the site...super excited. Been rescaping my 20 gallon since I moved all my fish to a 55. Hopefully they're ready for the pest snail population I have for them. :-)

I have had experience with corys and have successfully bred them. Catappa leaves are a definite to bring the Ph in the tank down a bit and to add tannins to lower their stress.

A really nice nano fish that you should look into is the Galaxy rasbora, also known as the celestial pearl danio. Great video bud! Glad to you you guys doing so well!

I got one pea puffer for my 55 gal nano tank,I’ve had him for about 5 days. All I’ve noticed it does in swim up and down,back and forth against the back wall..I feed freeze dried shrimp and blood worms and flake food. I’ve been squashed snails but I have yet to see it eat anything.

Check in with Dan's Fish regarding the imports that don't do well. He imports every week and has sold fish for over 20 years. His QT/medication process is two weeks (or more as needed), and I've never received an unhealthy fish from him. His survival rates out of QT, and in shipping are phenomenal.

Just got my pea puffers from you last Monday, had to come and find a pea puffer feeding video. My puffers only eat them(frozen bloodworms) as they’re falling and won’t eat the ones that have already landed. Going to try syringe this time around and try to get a hold of live if I can

Maybe put in some more botanicals and cover for the Pygmy cories, and also maybe they could use a thin layer of sand that they could sift through to feel more at home

I would suggest adding more floating plants like the guppy grass or hides for your female bettas, it will help with agression and stress. The more plants the better.

I had a question about pea puffers.. I have a 10 gallon tank and I was gifted 2 pea puffers but I want to make sure they don’t go after each other so I added lots of plants but I just don’t know if I should get a tank mate so they aren’t constantly sizing each other up or what should I do?

My Pygmy cories are doing great and I breed cpds. My water is 14 gh and kh. Pretty sure they prefer harder water. My tanks sit at 9 gh so maybe that’s the sweet spot

Would Easylife Filter medium & Easylife Voogle work on ICH, Brought some new fish a few days back saw white spot on them the next day waited for another day read more and knew it was ICH so went back to the store and they recommended EASYLIFE to booster immune system and would get rid of ICH .... Would it work ? Just dosed my first dosage as per the instructions .

Maybe the Cory's are stressed because there is no cover. Mine sometimes school but when not feeding they're hiding as a group behind a rock

They don't typically eat dry foods as they are very picky

We give all fish a few days of rest prior to treatment. Then do a week of treatment, week of rest then another week of treatment

The pygmys need shelter They like rocks and plants I have four and have had them for 8 days and none have died they are in a medium planted tank and have lots of hiding spots

i heard cories release toxin when stressed so the water they’re in is bad when they arrive. I think Plop and drop will be the best way to acclimate them. Did you drop acclimate the fish?
