It's been a long journey trying to create images and footage that have the depth of quality and the "feel" that I had always wanted. My journey came in three chapters:
My first attempt was collecting vintage lenses that I had to clean and adapt to my camera, my follow-focus, and to any filters I wanted to use with them. The images were beautiful, but incredibly difficult to control.
The second attempt was pairing modern lenses with filters that give a vintage look. Again, looked great, but didn't allow me any ability to fine tune that look in post.
Finally, I was approached by the lovely folks over at Dehancer to check out their software. Check the video out for the rest of the story...

If you leave a positive comment, it'll encourage me to make more content like this. If you REALLY want to get me pumped to make more stuff like this, head over to our Patreon and become a patron for $5/mo! You'll also get early releases of all our long-form content, as well as updates on our future plans and schemes! We want to start doing art giveaways and patron-exclusive livestreams there, so if you're able to, we'd love to have you as a patron.

ALSO, if you're just wanting to hang out and chat with us more, head on over to Twitch.tv/megaminimedia to catch near-daily livestreams! We've been trying to build it out into a network so Ash can stream Art on her channel and I can stream games on my own separate channel, then we can both stream adventures and content creation stuff on MegaMini, but we've been having trouble setting that all up. Stay tuned for updates and changes there! Who knows... we might even test out some platforms and come back and share our results in another video.
