Loved you video . Could you give us examples of say , how creators like myself , a florist, make videos as it’s not just talking to camera. I’m demonstrating flower arranging . How do you get different angles, close ups when you are doing it yourself. I know this isn’t about the email video but it was on my mind!!!

You'll need 2 or more cameras for different angles. If you have good set up high resolution, you will be able to zoom in, when editing your video.

The huge challenge with creating a lead magnet on Podia is when someone signs up, there is no way to see if they selected the 'receive marketing emails' checkbox in Podia once it's imported into my email service provider. There's no way to tell the difference between who I can send just updates about the lead magnet vs. more general email.

It's just not GDPR compliant to not have a checkbox for explicit consent for marketing emails or newsletter. Better even with double opt-in. You are not allowed to make signing up for newsletter as condition for delivering the lead magnet. GDPR sucks for content maker, but it's the game rule now in the EU🤧

Hmm. I rather doubt that they included a realistic costing for time in the figure for email-list ROI. Content based list building is a LOT of work! With effective paid advertising your margin will be smaller, but growth should be faster, your turnover will likely be higher and you will have more free time to develop more courses or deliver coaching to your customers, which can both grow your income. I know a course publisher who turns over millions with no dedicated list building at all. His only list building is customers or people who signed up for his sales webinar in response to paid advertising.

In Canada it looks like I can't make an email list from the internet. I hvae been trying social media and mail outs but need to reach more people. I do not want to break any commercial laws with respect to marketing from business to business. What are your suggestions?

Pre sell your course for month 1 Month 2 send out the cover and chapters. Month 3 table of contents. Month 4 sneak peak at chapter 1. Month 5 summary of value.

It's getting harder and harder to get people to open an email these days, even if they are on your list. Google is sending more and more people to do the Promotions folder, even for emails that they want to get.

You talked talked and taljed but didn't mention where to show it in front of people! db ads.. youtube.. etc what? you have the course ready.. how to bring traffic then.. some youtube videos just taking time from you without telling right things about traffic. you say do content marketing to get it in front of people or give away.. man.. content writing is seo which takes a millions of years before someone sees you. you say give away. in order to give away you must still show it to people. traffic again which you don't talk about it at all!
