i personally draw lineart with a dark purple and after i finish colouring i change the layer mode i sometimes do it differently depending on how large the lineart im doing is but usually when the linearts fairly thin i change the lineart layer mode to "linear light" and it looks pretty cool however with this you need to make sure theres no white/uncoloured areas in the colouring which is easy when youre used to it but this way is so easy and fast to use edit: forgot to mention i use procreate !!

This was super helpful, I've never figured out how to better my line art. It always comes out super thick or too thin, and super out of place with how dark it is com[ared to all the color/s. Though I don't know a few of these tools (I use photoshop and not used to clipping layers) I'll definitely look in to similar tools.
