Locals don’t really say “San Fran”. Depending on which area and socioeconomic class you’re from , saying “frisco” is actually pretty common but for the most part we call sf “the city”.

Next time your in San Francisco, try Swans Oyster Depot on Polk Street for the best freshest seafood, also the oldest restaurant in San Francisco is Tadich Grill on the 200 block of California street estb.1849. Great old school SF restaurant. And then there's the Mission District for the best Mexican food!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live a block away from Swans. Go during the week because you have a better chance to avoid the line.

@@John-mu2js Yup, I usually use to go right when they open. That way you get a seat right away. Oh how I could go for a Dungeness crab leg Louie with some fresh sourdough french bread right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍

Go to The Palace of Fine Arts in the evening or at night. It's gorgeous. A good day to visit the Ferry Building is during the farmer's market day and you can take a ferry to Sausalito for lunch. If you want any more suggestions let me know!

Why did you have to walk up a hill to get to Fisherman's Wharf? You should go to The Palace of Fine Arts in the evening or at night.

Did you guys walk pretty much everyday or take an uber? What do you recommend?

Yes, we walked mostly everywhere in San Francisco. I recommend taking an Uber at night for far destinations. We also ubered to Battery Spencer and walked back the whole gate!
