Locals don’t really say “San Fran”. Depending on which area and socioeconomic class you’re from , saying “frisco” is actually pretty common but for the most part we call sf “the city”.

Beautiful video. Chiang Rai has many beautiful temples, the most famous are the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) and the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Tent) due to its artistic decor. However, Black House is not a temple. It is an art museum. It's easy to distinguish a Thai temple. It must have an Ubosot (chapel) with a Buddha statue presiding over. Ubosot is the place that resident monks recite Buddhist Sutra every morning and evening. Black House does not have Ubosot, nor has resident monks living in. The Emerald Buddha Temple in the Grand Palace is considered a temple because it has an Ubosot with Emerald Buddha presiding over. However, it does not have resident monk as it is a temple within the Grand Palace. Yet it still functions as a regular temple even holding Buddhist ceremonies on special royal occasions by inviting monks from nearby temples to come.
