Hey, all! Quick note for something I say at 6:06! The Bose QC Ultra Headphones have a 2.5mm jack on the ear cup, but the product comes with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable to use with traditional headphone jacks. Hope that clears things up. Enjoy the rest of the video. Happy listening!

I’m really loving Sennheiser M4. Great battery life for traveling,the ANC does the job for me,and to me,the audio was the best of them all when testing(I know very subjective) and just more bang for your buck.

started with b&o h95 , had for about 6 months sound is good but not that comfy as only use for long periods on the pc and not that loud , so i purchased the sony wh-1000xm5 , and was very pleased more comfy a bit louder and sound great , then i listened to a sound demo on utube between the sony wh-1000xm5 and the sennheiser momentum 4 and there was to me a noticeable sound improvement over the sonys and 60 hours battery so i purchased in the black friday sale and wow they do sound great , very comfy . i purchsed the Sennheiser BTD 600 Bluetooth Dongle as thought there connection may improve over my asus motherboards Bluetooth . i dont use them for critical listening as use focal clears through RME ADI-2 DAC FS dac with the pc ............

Ok first of all these are the best WIRELESS headphones lol $179 for "budget" headphones is craazy for a lot of people. Also i JUST bought the arguably better pair from the same brand-- sennheiser momentum 4--for $118 used. Yes, used headphones exist and are great options for budget+eco friendliness+etc As for the high price headphones, the boses are barely better / very similar to the sony wh1000xm5's, and barely more expensive, so i wouldn't consider them at ALL the best money can buy. That would be the Focal bathys, bowers & wilkins px8, bang & olufsen beoplay h95, mark levinson 5909...the list goes on. Ik i criticized the last video in this series and dont get me wrong i love the passion & testing vigor & cinematography going into these videos but theyre just kinda misleading

@@gabrielferrar6996Been actually thinking of buying Beats Studio Pro. They are on Amazon for $180 (discounted from $350). Have you considered those? No cap the discount is hella tempting, but the thing is it looks like they are only shipped in the US and I would have to have them shipped with some shipping company. So if u live in USA it shouldnt be ur case tho. But the thing I aint sure about is that if it is worth the money, if there arent a similar value headphones for less money that would cover our needs. But on the other hand the discount wont be there forever and we wouldnt lose anything if we decided to sell them whereas the retail price would be lotta higher.

The Sony WH-CH720N works just as well as the Sony WH-1000XMS5 with the exception of noise cancellation but people still think it's good regardless (I can't hear my laptop fans) - Uses the same V1 Chip as the flagship headphones. - TACTILE BUTTONS (I hate touch sensitive) - Similar sound profiles (but less accuracy maybe) - Microphone sounds fine, 38 hour battery life I would say at £80/$100 this is worth going for if you don't want to blow £315/$400. I'm honestly surprised these weren't suggested instead given the price.

The 720n doesn't have the ldac bluetooth codec which is a bit of a big deal. Also can only pair with one device at a time. Sound wise though your probably right. Price increases on next models up is due to additional tech that is subjective as to whether its needed. If the drivers are the same then the sound quality will always be there about the same,

Have qc45 .. xm5 and bose qc ultra.. the ultra best from my experience.. great noise cancelling.. good sound.. very comfortable.. immersive sound your right for music... Its bad.. films maybe

Hey sounds guys. Just bought the bose qc ultra cuz of you and other reviewers. Gotta say the biggest issue is the android app doesn't work (Edit: seems to work better with newer devices, am going to get a new phone at this point). The app doesn't connect to them (Edit: my galaxy S8) and hasn't been updated since January, even though the headphones came out in October. The app won't connect to them and these headphones aren't even listed as a headphone in the app. Recent reviews for the app all state the same thing. The second issue is they sound pretty bad, much worse than my Audio Technica ATH-M50s. I guess they are wireless so there are limits but to be honest i think even my Logitech g933 sounds better, or at least more balanced. These sound very closed in and base heavy (although you did mention this). The build quality and noise cancellation do seem good so far though. I honestly think if i can't find a way to connect to the app i might return them. This is basically fraud that they are advertising features that we can't even access because they won't update their app. Did you guys try them on Android or only iPhone?

I also have the Bose qc ultra and an android phone. The app works fine for me tho. After connecting to Bluetooth first, the app detected the headphones quickly. So far, I have no issues with the app.

@@alicenguyen5846 yeah I have an old phone, galaxy S8, i think that's part of the problem, but it's not like theirs a problem with the bluetooth on the phone, works fine with the headphones and everything else, just not the app. App seemed to work okay on my S6 lite tablet. I think it's a software issue, with the S8 not having support anymore. Bose is still equally to blame IMO, should not matter if the phone is old, just poor programming. I'm basically going to just buy a new phone even though my S8 is working fine still. I am warming up to the headphones a bit more, not going to return them, besides I don't think I can anyhow.

This was very informative and you guys obviously know what you're talking about so I'd blindly purchase what you recommend. I have a question for you though, why do you not make these kind of videos? Like a couple of best products for every price range..? It's not that hard to figure out the algorithm, you guys are engineers and I'm kinda shocked that you guys haven't picked up on the algorithm

There’s not many out there, but from what I hear too many people Srhythm but they’re about $80 to 60 with a few other fees like shipping if you order them online But I don’t know how many years they last because some headphones 100 or under don’t last that long like I said, most of them cost 100 or more so if you really want to risk it and try these ones out and go ahead

Btw that jack on bose ultra isn't 3.5 it's 2.5mm single ended not balanced jack. Anyways it's useless as you still have to turn bose on to use wired. Unlike sony

Well you lost me there, bose high end... I would go easily for the bathys if we go for high end wich is not bose last iteration.... I tried both and even if bose anc is over the focal, the bathys is way over the bose, I had the opportunity to try both and well, I'll get the bathys as soon my bank account will allow me 😂

When it comes to sound quality, Focal wins. I’ve used their high end car speaker for 25 years and love their clear sound the louder they get.

@ryanb8736 my point is they are designed to be portable.. but are quite big and have poor noise cancelling which defeats the point.. if for home use you will get wired better headphones for much lower cost ..

The Xm5s are trash. Really awful product. What a let down because the xm3 and xm4 were so good. The quality is just bad, and they will easily break after a year. More disappointing than the quality is their shit app that resets the settings on your headphones every few weeks. Honestly best overall should be the xm4s.

I had the xm5s (both the headphones and the earbuds) and I was disappointed. They ate very expensive and they do not deliver what I expected. The sound was good but the controls were messy and the app did not offer as many options as I would have expected. It was also difficult to navigate. The earbuds and the headphones also were not as good at sound isolation as I expected.
