Right on Patrick we also have found them to be exceptional. Our original impact gun and drill were Rigid which we bought during their 50th Anniversary sale and we still use them today although not as often. Rigid proved us with LIFETIME WARRANTY which includes the batteries. Our Rigid batteries have been covered under warranty after many years and since the original 12V was no longer available they were upgraded to 18V which are also covered for a LIFETIME. Hard to believe some other companies have not incorporated this warranty in their product line it would sway a lot of consumers their way eh?

Usually it's Sunday night my videos go up, sometimes the afternoon if I'm ahead of schedule. Occasionally Saturday if I'll be busy on the Sunday. And yes I hear you, we spend loads on tools just to have them. We use this light multiple times a day, must have for us

Glad Jake did this video since i promised i would discuss it with him based on you and Rein commenting that you would like to see it.

This is the Old Man at EP Jake's dad and i assume you are also Jake. The biggest thing you have to do is put in the time and commitment to your channel. Good content is the key to success but that has to be coupled with great camera angles, great audio that remains consistent and does not fade out at times. proper lighting so the viewers can see what you are doing at all times and having the tools and knowledge to do the work. Making mistakes and having them in a video is no big deal ie: my buddy Ken's Small Engine Repair in Conn. USA made a few in his latest video and the comments were super supportive for him not editing them out. They actually made the video more enjoyable to watch and we are all getting older. I do not remember where i placed a socket or wrench 15 seconds ago but i always find it i just have to learn to put them back where they came from in the first place. Coming up with a new video or one that has not been done before (which is extremely hard to do) like Brant's Small Engine in Brantford, Ont. Canada on a Honda track snowblower. Here it takes some detective work and the ability to think a problem through to come up with a solution. These are videos that generate a lot of interest. Tips or tricks of the trade make good videos as does shop tours and new tool videos like this one. Here at EP Jake has done a excellent job on his videos, watch his earliest ones and compare them to now. The difference is in the time he has put in to these videos and the presentation there are no awws or ohhs anymore. Try to post your videos on a regular basis (time and day and commit to weekly or what ever you feel comfortable with). Henry at Mowers and Blowers does a daily video (misses the odd day) and not only myself but others also wonder how can he keep up the pace without burning out. It can be stressful and you may want to quit but the main goal it to commit. I would also suggest you watch and subscribe to as many repair channels as you can. You will immediately pick up on the good the bad and the ugly. This things will all help you put out a better product. Good luck and i am now a subscriber so never forget the OLD MAN is watching eh?

Focus on content that you can make with things or equipment you already have, that way you won't have to spend any money. Once you start making some money, reinvest it into things that will make better content. Editing software, new camera, tools or equipment etc. And also just be yourself and post regularly. The channel didn't generate any income on KZfaq for the first 2yrs believe it or not. The big thing is to just keep posting, you'll gain a following of people that even if they aren't interested in the topic of video you're doing, they'll stop by just to see what you're up to!

Oh wow! I didn't except this great of replies and info! Man, u Canadians are really as nice as they say lol. I really appreciate everything you guys just told me and even tool some notes...very awesome of u guys! If I know the old man is watching, that might light a fire under my ass to put out some solid content and I'll think twice before I post lol. Also, I'm a full time railroaded with a wife and 3 kids. Life is so busy, but if I want it bad enough, I'll make it work, right? Having equipment and problems that havent been repaired much on youtube has also been a struggle for me, but i never thought about making repair videos on my own equipment that i already have...also, you gave me a great idea for a video. I do have a 1979 Chrysler Sno Runner 2 stroke that a customer wants me to get running and I keep walking right by it, not even thinking of how many people would enjoy seeing that...crazy! If u can, let me know what u think about that, please, but either way, be on the lookout for the sno runner vid lol Like I said, i appreciate and am grateful that you guys responded to me and gave me very detailed advice. @@kenhilson786 We have a number of battery operated lights we purchased at CTC and found them to be extremely less useful and effective as this Milwaukee. You have to realise that as a registered company the purchase is written off in 5 years and the taxes are written off against the invoice.

I think you will be totally impressed with this unit but it is good if you have other Milwaukee tools for easy battery swaps if you do not carry the amount we do. No issues with our first Milwaukee purchase 10 years and still kicking butt.

@@waynestefinashen239 I'm invested in the Makita line, but I'm slowly trying to transition to Milwaukee as their stuff is great. I've got a few Milwaukee 12v, and a couple of their 18v nailers. Great tools thanks for the advice!

Your likely not the only one that will not spend this kind of money on a work light and that is understandable. But there are nuts out there like us that love the Milwaukee brand and if it is useful and does the job better or faster we buy it. In the long run even this light makes us more money by allowing us to perform the work faster and better due to increased lighting.

Not only do we use this light every day, we use it multiple times every day. It's well worth the investment for those of us who do this work daily!

I believe it's a 20M314-1469-E2 but the 1350 didn't have a throttle control from the factory, I used parts off 2 broken 1450s and converted it from fixed governor to adjustable. That'll be covered in the upcoming videos.

@@blairk573 you'll need the 794800 control bracket, it's discontinued, but you can still buy it. This week's video might just be the overview to how I got all 3 machines, and what my costs are, then next week should be the video of me converting the engine an swapping it onto the newer snowblower. In that video, I'll show you how to properly set up the governor, and adjust for rpm.
