Good video...just you should not force multimeter leads into a connecter it can spread the terminals they have probes you can buy that are much thinner and I back probe with them

The funny part is that people in the GM side would rather compare the 6.2 and not the 5.3. The 5.3 is very underpowered for being how new it is.
@EliminatorPerformance24 секунд бұрын
Yea I get that all the time with Rams and the 5.7 hemi, like of course it makes more power, it has more displacement lol the closest GM engine is the 4.8L because a 302ci coyote is actually 4.949L but no one wants to talk about that comparison lol

What causes a battery to die in a riding lawn mower I know you don't live close to me but I'm new to owning a riding lawn mower I'm just trying to figure out how to work on it so anyway you can tell me what kills off the battery and a riding lawn mower
@CARBON104 сағат бұрын
Most mowers have left hand thread bolts to remove blade, so it's opposite to normal, tighten to loosen or loosen to tighten. Got you now........no it's true

Great video!! I picked up the same mower a few days ago and the mower was slow to crank. The ground wire on the solenoid switch was melting the insulation off the wire too! Long story short; the previous owner had changed the solenoid but used a 4 post where the spade connectors were hot when the key was engaged. This video helped me realize there is a 4 post terminal with one being a ground!

I installed them on my John Deere D155 lawnmower. I notice a small difference in the turning of the lawnmower. Nothing to write home to Mother about. But every lawnmower is different. The only real difference was making small turns, they were easier. Large turns had no effect on turning in my opinion.

Just use a solvent to remove the gasket leftover. It may take longer, but using any kind of a wheel is risky.
@EliminatorPerformanceКүн бұрын
You are correct, but I use the blue fabric discs. I know it can be risky but I've never had any issues. I would not use the brown fabric discs, they are super abrasive. Now if this was a cylinder head on a race motor, I wouldn't be using this method lol

@@EliminatorPerformance your video was really good. The reason I was viewing it was because I was noticing dead grass dots in my lawn….ie, a bad seal. Unfortunately, when I pulled the sump side off I noticed a lot of wear on the bearing…and to be expected after I think 20 years of service. So, I had to buy a new sump side otherwise just replacing the seal wouldn’t really fix the seal. I am really surprised the seal spring isn’t a bit stronger…to be tighter to the crank. Anyway, it’s been 20 years since I needed to dive into a 4 cycle engine so thanks for the video.

The new models are built too cheap. I like my 35 year old Toro with steel rods to control the drive and auger/thrower impeller. They sure don't build them for what you pay anymore.

Hey Champ - I did this to my friends slighly smaller 5.5 140cc Briggs and Stratton - didn't work. IF THE SPARK PLUG IS WET -- Do you think its the ignition Coil ??? Please Please resopnd.
@EliminatorPerformanceКүн бұрын
It's possible, remove the plug and pull it over a few times to dry out the cylinder. Put the plug back in, remove air filter and spray a small squirt of starter fluid in the intake. If you pull it and it doesn't fire, you likely have no spark.

Recently rebuilt carb on a chain saw. It’s a very similar setup to this. I should have bought the China carb but got the rebuild kit instead. The hour and a half def wasn’t worth the $5 saved especially since one of the screens I changed really required some jewelers tools. Good thing I have some minimal cell phone repair experience. I avoided the new carb only because I had concerns on build quality. Fortunately it’s easy to confirm good spark and compression without a carb so I did that before spending money.

The best is to find the ones with lots of good reviews, spend a bit more usually not much more than an extra $10 here or there for a good carb

I've got a GX200 that idles and even can take half throttle under no load. Any throttle higher and it stalls. I thought carb so I disassembled, cleaned real good and reassembled. No change. I was ready to buy a new carb but thought I'd check KZfaq. So glad I did. I took a ohm reading on mine and it was 9000. Bought a Stens from Amazon and installed. Runs like brand new. Can't thank you enough for posting this fix. Liked and subscribed. Never would even come close to thinking this would be faulty.

My TR30R won’t start, and I got a new battery. It’s started and I mowed the lawn twice. Now it won’t start. I purchased the kit for a tune up, air filter, and oil for a change. I even bought a carburetor kit. However there are no mobile services, in my area to come and install all. The local Riding Lawnmower repairman, uses another person to pickup the mower $40 then after a tuneup (when I supply the kit) charges $200. I wish someone would start a mobile service.
