So after reviewing every hit rap song of 2021 in one sentence, it's time to cover every single new rap ALBUM I listened to in 2021 by ranking them on a tier list. And then at the end, I'll be telling you guys my top 10 best and top 10 worst rap albums of 2021!
I listened to around 44 new albums this year from a variety of different artists, but which ones were my favourite, and which ones were my least favourite? Well, this is CDTVProductions, and watch the video to find out!

You should check out "the house is burning" by Isaiah Rashad. It is definitely in my top 5 of the year and all three of Zays albums are simply amazing.

Young nudy was an artist that took a really long time to grow on me but I've kinda fallen in love with the general vibe of alot of his older albums. Also pierre and nudy are just a dream team.

Man one of my absolute favorites wasn't on here, Kings Disease II by Nas. His second album is also amazing, Nas is certainly at a newfound peak and his collabs with Hit-Boy in the 3-album trilogy that now exists is really strong.

Same thing happened to me with Off Season. I thought it was good the first time I heard it, then I revisited it and it sounded amazing. The beats aren't phenomenal, but J Cole is one of the few rappers left who carries the beat instead of being carried by it.

Disappointed not to see Mach Hommy's Pray for Haiti . Actually one of my favs this year you should check it out and Mach's entire catalog cuz he has one of the best discographies in hip hop

It would be great if you gave Spanish rap a chance, I know that the language barrier can be a problem but I think it could be worth it, especially that sometimes you said you're a bit saturated with the genre, so that could be a breath of fresh air, I would recommend listening to artists like WOS or Dillom who have sounds quite different from the Anglo mainstream

@@mocapcow2933 My first listen, I found it very experimental and I thought it was pretty meh but i had a strong feeling it would grow on me. I found that even though I find pierre as one of my favorite artists, a decent chunk of his music takes time to grow on me. As of now Yo88 definitely grew on me and I think it’s a great album, i’d still put TLOP5 over it though personally. I love the different beats pierre experimented on, tm88 did his thing. I know it’s gonna grow on me even more as time goes on

Love the list, slime language is higher for me personally. But I wish you included Soulfly by Rod Wave, a great album for me. Also I would've loved to see wlr even though it was Christmas 2020.

I know it is off topic, but for your next "Poorly Age Rap Lyrics" you should definetly include this line from "Brand Name" by Mac Miller. *"To everyone who sell me drugs Don't mix it with that bullshit I hopin' not to join the twenty seven club."* Which is so tragic because: A) He died by an overdose because one of his usual dealers sold him altered pills and B) Because he, indeed, didn't join 27 club since he died at 26 years old. *RIP MAC*

Ghetts' Conflict of Interest was honestly album of the year for me in 2021, from the first listen it was already one of the best albums I've ever listened to and remains to be in my top 3 favourite albums of all time, it did fairly well among fans and critics but it seems like the wider rap fan base still isn't acknowledging Ghetts, especially in the KZfaq rap community. The album was only acknowledged by Anthony Fantano who really wasn't impressed by it, and tbh Fantano likes to think his opinions are fact but he shows consistently that he doesn't really understand rap and his rap preferences are based more on his knowledge of other genres. Kinda sad to see such a well thought out, conceptual, lyrical, technical and instrumentally rich album get such little recognition and appreciation

By the time I get to phoenix is fucking incredible. It is definitely gonna take a while to wrap your head around it with how crazy it is, but once you do you will understand what I mean. Basically, it's injury reserve making their interpretation of what existentialism and grief sound like. Trust me, that thing is a masterpiece

I only started watching you consistently a few days ago and i have to say that it was a good investment, especially because I found out that you think Big L is the greatest rapper because he’s so underrated and he’s such a good rapper, i love Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous and Da Graveyard is my favourite track from that album, i really also like Platinum Plus and Deadly Combination from The Big Picture 🔥🔥🔥🔥 He’s so good

There were a lot of random weird tracks on SL2 but also a bunch of absolute bangers. Like you said you have to expect that with a compilation album. You’re definitely sleeping on it though

As someone who loves experimental artists like JPEGMAFIA and Death Grips, "By The Time I Get to Phoenix" was one of the most difficult albums I have ever had to finish. It's just so depressing and I am not a fan of the "barely even music" sound. I may come back to it but I can't bring myself to do so until at the very least months from now.

Donda would have been good for me if it wasnt a convoluted MESS. There was no need for 4 versions of Junya, 6 versions of Jail, and all these versions. He kept pushing back his album for a year and gave us this half baked BS. We arent getting College Dropout no more. That Kanye died a long time ago. I agree with you with CLB. Take Care is his classic to me. Majority of CLB i dont even want to listen to. I have no desire to. Only a few songs I actually go back to and someone would have to pay me alot of cash for me to listen to it throughout too.
