----------------------------------------------------------
My main dislike about the Milwaukee Switch Tank has been the inability to use all of the chemicals in the sprayer without a lot of air entering the system for the last 20 percent of the spraying. Other complaints we hear very often include: it quit working the first spray, biggest downside is when you are down to about a gallon left the pump has trouble building pressure, tank started leaking.... since you carry the tank on your back - it's not a good time, and the screen is inside the tank and needs to be twisted to unseat it for cleaning which may be very often because it is too tight for the pump intake and plugs easily. When you call to find out what the problem is you get argued with and told you are using the wrong materials.
So these comments daily along with my experience led me out to find a viable alternative. The Sprayers Plus models all get great reviews with Professional users so we gave them a try and the 105Ex exceeded my expectations for the price we paid for it! It is nice to order something and get a quality product in return.

thank you for talking about products you actually have/gained experience with, too many other channels make too many videos about stuff they don't know.

Great video.sometimes i feel like the big companys just put something out with not that much engeneering into it, thinking people are on the platform they will buy it.you are one of my favorite tool tubers because you keep it 100% all the time.no shill just thrill haha

Another great video! Like another commenter mentioned, I was leaning towards the Switch Tank, as I have several M18 batteries. However, your review and statement how the only real negative about the Sprayer Plus 105Ex is that it’s not on the same platform as other tools you have really resonated with me. While it would be convenient, it doesn’t appear to be a smart decision to purchase the Switch Tank when the Sprayer Plus 105ex seems to more robust. I ordered a Sprayer Plus 105Ex today as I get ready for spring weed killing:) Thanks again for following up your original video, and showing a prospective that most KZfaqrs don’t (most do a review, say how amazing a product is, than review something else entirely different).

Man, I really wanted to get the Milwaukee, since I've already bought a lot of their tools. But I just can't take a chance on the leakage issues that seem to be common. I'll probably go with the Sprayers Plus model. Thanks for the detailed rundown on both of these models. Good info that saved me $100, and probably headaches later on.

I built my own with a $25 12v pump off Amazon. 3d printed my Ridgid battery adaptor and printed mounting plates to hose clamp onto the hand pump tank. Yes it's not as neatly made as a purchased unit. But I can easily replace any component if I would need to. Perhaps someday I'll build a backpack sprayer this way but my 2 gallon unit works good for me right now.

Make sure that no chemicals are left in the pump when stored and cross your fingers. Or take it back while you still can.

The Milwaukee switch tank definitely needs some improvements. 1. relocating the pump inlet to the lowest spot of the tank. 2. Strainer on the pump intake for i get clogs all the time and have to empty the container to get it working again. 3. A check valve on the wand tip or in the handle, I have had countless issues with the wand leaking everywhere after use

I thought about telling my story as it has a lot of stupid and interesting twists. If you want a spoiler, my diet is based on a doctor from KZfaq that turned out to be a chiropractor. Lol. Look up Dr Berg on KZfaq and then watch a lot of David Goggins while you work out.

Ive been through about 9 of those ryobi myself. I just buy a new from HD and swap out for the busted one. They send to Ryobi so it becomes their problem which it should be.

With the high number of uses, I don't see the need that tool being in a similar battery ECO system. I prefer Field King's sprayers personally. However if truly need swap batteries one could consider using a 18v to 20v adapter and using dewalt batteries.

I bought the Hart 2 gallon sprayer and like it. It is the same as the Ryobi without the stem battery. The wand is plastic and didn’t last, so I went to a Solo product with a stainless wand and it is much better.

These tanks all pump the product which means product is in pump so any corrosive product will attack pump. I like pumps that pressurize the tank so only thing in pump is air. Pump Zero Power sprayer uses an air pump to keep spray container at right pressure much better and only clean out is tank, the pump itself is never wet.

$220 isn't bad for that. I have the Ryobi unit which was $150 with a battery and charger. It was the first Ryobi tool that I have purchased. It's ok at best, nothing great but the price was right.

I had went with the sprayers plus backpack model because my milwaukee switchtank sucks! no one wants leaking chemicals going down their back. milwaukee had a good idea, but terrible implementation and quality. Don't forget the price. Typical milwaukee gen 1 curse.
