A giant Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F boombox toured Europe to play the new Axel F theme song, and celebrities from Big Sean to Shaquille O’Neal and Jared Goff to Joseph Gordon-Levitt performed the song in their own styles. Here’s a montage of some of the best moments of people celebrating the 2024 Axel F theme composed by Lorne Balfe, reinvented from the original Harold Faltermeyer composition for the 1984 film.

Just seen the movie and I would say it is a nice send off for the character. He warped up nice. The call backs were nice. The thing I like most is, after going back to watch all three before in order, Axel's and the progression of characters within each movie. It is fitting that a movie that is about Axel as a character is the last movie. It is bonus to know this song isn't "Beverly Hill Cop Theme" anymore but after 30 years it finally got named. Good times. An American classic. A real American myth to be retold around future campfires.

using the original music was a great starting choice by the director. Using a lot of old school camera work, face shots with nothing happening and cuts also helped this feel like an 80s movie. That and not making it overly complex, somethings are just a fun ride
