This movie is crazier than a bag of frogs... And I absolutely love it. The depiction of hell seen at the finale might be my favorite depiction I've ever seen in a film.

A little, but not too badly. While they are dangerous, and you definitely should be careful when feeding them... When you get a chance to really observe them, you'll see that they're actually kinda cute...

This is my favorite Fulci film next to Zombie. Great spooky score, creepy as hell atmosphere, great gore effects and a downbeat ending, what is there not to love.

I had to look away about 6 times thru this, but I left my headphones in, so it was lovely the graphic way you kept explaining the deaths, and I also enjoyed all the squishy sounds...

ACTUALLY, I think Shreveport is used as a filming location more often than New Orleans proper. At one point it was the 3rd most popular city for filming in the USA, with Los Angles and New York leading by a large margin. The reason Shreveport is preferred over New Orleans is because it's in Northern Louisiana, where the weather and climate is a little less chaotic and a number of buildings have architecture similar enough to fool people who have never been to the city. Granted, they still go down there from time to time because some things can only be found in New Orleans, but the city is called the New York of the south, and it shares a similar kind of busyness without the expectation that parts of it will need to be shut down for filming.

Ten years is such a feat! I'm sad I haven't watched from the beginning, but I'll always remember finding your videos in 2013 and thinking, "Man, this guy's voice just gave me an eargasm." They say you never forget your first critic, and I've found that to be true.
