I made a mistake, Naevys may not be JWK, aeboards utilize their own molds but there is no confirmation on who manufactures the switches. My bad! Also, there was a mistake in the description of Zykos, it's PANDA tops, not Boba. Sorry about that!

@@boiledicetea no it isn't. it literally doesn't have a membrane. rubber domes don't necessarily have to use membranes and membranes don't necessarily use rubber domes. its a capacitive design, therefore it has a pcb and no membrane.

You mean the time it takes to switch a single key switch and keycap and the then tap it consistently till it comes. And repeat? He only gets credit if he had done each board entirely filled with a switch with a real typing test. Then went back and lubed them. Then filmed and lube. That’s work son. This is just jerking off the z key.

Tactiles are super hard to cover honestly, I prefer to speak on linears haha. Just gotta put disclaimers to let people know that my information may not be 100% accurate

Thank you so much for this fantastic comparison - the video is really informative and I love how you scored the switches according to different parameters and visually ranked them, easy to follow and visualise! One suggestion: working a bit on your audio (recording and post) would be a great way to boost your videos. You have a very calm voice and smooth humour, both things you should capitalise on on the audio department :)

You can actually compare tactility by pressing two switches with the same spring against each other. Holy pandas are a lot less tactile than all franken variants with zealios and boba bottoms and even zealios and u4t themselves in my testing.

I loved the way the Moyu Blacks sound. But it's pretty hard to get them where I live, so I guess I'll go with the Bobas. I was in between Bobas and Glorious Pandas, but Bobas sound better and the stem seems more tactile.

Thanks for tbe video! Great overview and really interesting getting other people's take on tactiles. Since you have the parts for it, could you try putting a Dark Jade stem and spring into a Kiwi housing (bottom and top?) I really want to know if I'm the only person who finds this frankenswitche really appealing. To me it feels even than Bykos. Thanks dude!

So lubed my favorite are Okomochi's, but they still sound a bit too scratchy. Is there a switch with a similar, deep and soft sound with less scratchyness?

@@metrogrinch9316 ive looked all over for good tactiles, most of then are either unavailable or sound pretty bad. No idea why pandas are so popular. U4S is probably the 2nd closest switch that i found thats pretty decent, but its so hard to find in stock

@@Instinct0425 hotswap, I'm aware of the common issue where the leaf moves but thankfully that only happened to a few of the switches and I was able to swap them out
