Regarding the song Soft Kitty, there were some legal issues with the original writer of the song. I read that the show eventually settled outside of court with the original writer. Resulting with the song no longer being used in the show in the later seasons.

Campaign sought to rehabilitate the egg's image. It's probably the most prominent "It's good for you. No, it's bad for you. No, it's actually good for you." U-turn in nutrition I can remember.

See, Mary Lee Cooper is the perfect example of person that young gens do not get. She's a nice person, her heart has always been in the right place, but she's used to a different manner of speech and people shouldn't concern themselves with it because older generations have never changed, only newer. Just because "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" it doesn't mean it defines a person's nature. In the end, if a person is bad natured, they'll overreach to sound decent, but then you'll never be sure what they say about you behind closed doors. I think being good natured and, innocently and absentmindedly, honest, but good natured, is still better than being a snake with a mask. That's one of the traits of psychopaths ;)
