I grew up in Northern Italy; I remember my friends and I would exchange Panini Soccer cards as children. I never thought Panini was big outside of Italy too.

Card collecting is one of my favorite hobbies that has brought me many friends through my card shop community. I am not a fan of fanatics having exclusive deals with every major sport and every category, but when it comes to sports cards, topps is unrivaled. They have events, better quality control, and many legacy/modern sets released every year. I hope the fanatics takeover makes the hobby more accessible to hobbyists.

In theean time long time collectors are getting screwed. I use to think that fanatics was going really be good for nfl collecting. But seeing how cut throat they are . The hobby just going get torn up and trashed. Fanatics does not care at all about its customers.

Panini are absolute crooks! I understand that they may have a respectable history BUT in sports cards condition is EVERYTHING and Panini's quality control is horrendous. Worse, they do not care to improve this damaged part of their reputation! They were already brought to the brink of a class action lawsuit for not fulfilling their obligations regarding redemption cards yet it seems they've returned to their old habits. I submitted 3 redemptions to Panini, all for autographed & serial numbered rookies, you would think at least one would come back a gem mint grade since this is coming directly from the factory with a Panini sticker sealing the case shit, but nope all 3 have a least one obvious flaw. They do this to control the population count of highly valuable cards, disgusting ...as I said absolute crooks 👎
