what about gta5+gtaiv and good story like in gta san and combine red dead.. map with gta san map+gtav map and another maps(vice city) and get some ideas from mafia2 (and other games) i think it would be a good game to play

Also in gta IV when you press the F button he keeps the car running and gets out of the car and if you hold the F button he pulls the handbrake and turns off the car.

@sucka la mink nah, people don't feature it in games beacuse it takes some more time to script, and much people don't care abaout it. Why spend time making something only 50 people out of thousands players will use, if you can spend time on something else that everyone will use. Doing it for many big devs seems like a waste of time. They just do new map, new story and sometimes new mechanic without spending time for details, so they can earn money at the least cost possible

The point is because people CARE about the small details.. weather it’s food you can eat . Every building going inside and out.. having to refill your gas I LOVED that about mafia !

Just to remember that Mafia II was a medium budget game that wasn’t fully completed because they didn’t had the money to do it. Even though, it had THAT amount of details.

@Purple Guy 2k Czech was merged in Hanger 13, but yes Mafia 2 and 3 were made by different studios. GTA on the other hand is the same studio, thus the question stands.

Mafia 2 also has better weight, so you can almost feel potholes in the road, but gta 4 does have that, just not so as much. The body roll is amazing, just a bit too fast though. Mafia 2 also has vibration on turns

I have no idea why they remove some of those details in games, it annoys me because it makes it more fun, imagine fleeing from the cops in Mafia 3 and then you suddenly run out of gas. Same goes for GTA, there was way more interaction in that game, including places you could go to.

It makes the game feel the same feature wise, because they remove features from the game and add none, or others, keeping features though would enhance game experience, definitely.

I like how in Mafia 2 you can change driving mode to be easier to drive or more realistic. GTA should take notes.

@@bartman26 5's driving is way too simple and dumbed down for the kids. Drifting around corners slows down cars way too much without mods. It's like the game sees you having fun and takes it away. 4's is like everything is a 1974 Cadillac Deville with varying acceleration speeds. But yes, let's not have any options that would make the game more fun for more people

@@jeiku5041 I remember when I used to play GTA IV I changed handling on 10 most used car by me. There are many great community modded car handlings for GTA IV. Actually with community handlings GTA IV driving is way more realistic than GTA V. What I really hate about GTA V is that if you roll a car on the roof you can simply use steering to roll it back on the wheels. It doesn't make any sense.

Mafia II is great in physics.. I haven't played mafia III yet only Mafia II, GTA IV and V.. In mafia II we have to break the lock before we access to the car.. That's damn realistic😘

4 different ways to steal a car in Mafia 2: -pick locking -smash the window -shoot the window -shoot the door handle That's damn impressive

in Mafia III you can break the window or use picklocks. picklocks will be available as you progress through the game. of all Mafia 3 has the best physics and graphics. driving is almost realistic. if you are playing on a console, the vehicle acceleration and shift points vary based on how far you have pressed the accel button. that is still missing in GTA V

i think gta4 + mafia 2 definitive edition is enough good story mafia 3 like graphics which at times make gta5 look like average best physics if you do wanna add something then removing gta 4 and adding red dead redemption is much better as it contributes to both physics and graphics much more than gta series (even thogh i think gta 3 story + rdr 2 is better)

I like how in mafia 2 when you open the hydrant and drive into it, the water which is already propelled will fall down, not an entire animation in a pause.

Я сначала в первую играл, но так как не было опыта знакомства с такими играми, я вообще не понял, как играть)) Думал, что всю игру придётся на машине ездить, так как первая миссия погоня. Не особо любил гонки и поэтому бросал её раз 5, никак не понимая, что делать. Когда до меня дошло, после прохождения нескольких миссий, что это за игра, то я влюбился в неё)) Просто шедевр для своего времени, что по деталям к игровому миру (не считая одинаковых на лицо персонажей 😂), что по сюжету.

Mafia 2 was way ahead of its time and STILL doing better at realism vs a lot of games today. If you've not played it, You're missing out. It's better than 3, And heaps better than any and i mean ANY GTA if you're into story and some wildly awesome physics too.

Same with Mafia 2. Remember mafia 2 was also 2010. Gta 4 and mafia 2 are from the same era, the last era of amazing gaming. (About 2012 it ended, but watchdogs was 2014, but that was still realistic.)

They had to do research, because tires of that era, bias plys, were distinct and different..and unlike the massacre of GTA 5, the tire actually feels like a tire, not a thick black block from the front view and a circle void with a badly painted on texture from the side view. They have depth, and shape to them as older tires did, with really pretty designs.

I like in IV that when you tap the exit button he leaves the car running, and if you hold it, he pulls the handbrake and turns the car off. Same if you get in a car or on a bike and drive immediately he doesn't put on helmet or seatbelt so if you crash he flies out the window, but if you wait a second he puts helmet or seatbelt on and never flies out the window if you crash. little details..

Aye dude with GTA games yes.. But in mafia II it's more realistic with vehicles.. You have to break the car's lock before you access.. Once you access, you can get in the car easily without breaking the lock again.. That's more realistic bro.. I've also played every games in GTA series but this game is far ahead from GTA games.. But Mafia III ruined the series completely 😒

The real problem in all of those games that some small stuff can go completely unnoticed. Like a carwash in mafia II, if there was a mission to take a car there and get back to your boss that would be awesome. In mafia 2 you go straight to shooting, no stuff like "wash your boss' car, and drink a coffee nearby while it is being washed". Or cut a tire to make a gut walk out of the car to capture him. Most close to it was GTA IV, though I never knew of combos in-game till I read on Wikipedia, in-game guide would be very cool. GTA IV is the best GTA considering the story and the world, but, oh no, kids cried that there were no helicopters and jetpacks, so we have what we have in GTA5.

I only play two of which are GTA IV CE (1.0.7.0) and Mafia 2, one thing that is really good about them is the optimization (especially Mafia 2), I can play GTA IV on med-high sets with 30 fps and only few frame drops, and Mafia 2 on high sets with more than 30 fps, very smooth. I bet my low end laptop can't handle those sequels.

Mafia 2 wins in every aspect. The world just feels real and everything feels accurate. Watch Dogs also did good world building too with its NPCs.
