GTA San Andreas interiors are located in sky no police or npc can enter. But if you go to the UFO bar near the desert the police just spawns randomly inside interior.

I loved that in SA we can go in our "safehouse" and forget about the police no matter the wanted level. I hated the fact that police can come into our house in GTA V. It's called "Safehouse" for a reason...

Gta 3 Police officers aren't bad, they are just following the rule called "No Trespassing"

In GTA IV , police can come in only when your safe house is physically accessible. Like the Hove Beach and Bohan. But the Algonquin safe house is only accessible through an elevator so they can't come in. Playboy's penthouse is safe but the police may climb up the opposite building and shoot you. It has a physically accessible terrace so N.O.O.S.E will be dropped through the terrace from helicopter.

I love how GTA IV had two different kinds of officers in their game. The kind that can keep up with you if you try to run away, and the ones who can't. Made interactions and running from the cops more fun interesting.

So, pretty much. III - Cops walk away due to the SH not being an walkable area. VC - Cops can chase you in the interior. LCS/VCS - Cops can't enter due the interior being separated by a teleport. SA - Cops can't enter due to separate interior. IV - Police can and will enter, albeit somewhat buggy. CTW - No way due to the SHs being 2D. Despawns cops with a loading screen. V - Cops do enter, but they scutter about and take a lot of cover.

It’s funny how gta vice city is older than gta sa but the animation to entering buildings is a lot better and more interactive I was impress to see that cop in Tommy’s apartment

If I remember correctly, In GTA SA, when u do the burglary missions, If you stay in a house while the victim calls the police, the cops actually come in through the windows or something.

In GTA 5 you can still smoke and drink in the safehouse, while the cops are there. Once the animation starts the police wait for it to finish before trying to arrest, or attack you.

I always loved luring cops into the Bohan Safe house in GTA IV, it was so fun if you just wanted a rampage.

In Liberty City Stories, in the first appartment, the one you're in, you can actually shoot at peoples from the windows and cops can shoot at you too ;)

All gta police comparisons: Gta 3: Police doesn't want to enter claude's safehouse..He safe Gta Vc: Police cannot enter house so he decide to shoot Tommy from outside...Tommy safe if he keep distance from the front door (but in some case the police can pass though the door) Gta sa: Cj is 100% safe in safehouse but the police will wait outside Gta lcs: same as gta sa...we can even hear police shooting from outside (maybe he pissed) Gta Vcs: same as gta Lcs but we can also see they police from window Gta iv: Niko still safe although the police can come in...just sleep and everything will be fine (the polices also give Niko some privacy) Gta Cw: 100% safe from police nothing more... Gta v: Same like gta iv but cannot savegame or do anything (not safe)......i think Micheal was pissed coz the polices enter his house without permission
