The problem with the ANC led government, is that they are not willing to call out or condemn dictators and evil leaders in African, instead they try to pacify them, e.g. Munangagwa and Kagame

The hope among Southern Africans was that South Africa would be a moral influence for democratisation and respect of human rights in the region. Unfortunately that has not happened

Never seen a debate where everyone agrees with each other. How myopic by the moderator to not include actual dissenting voices.

Not only Mozambique. You owe Zimbabwe even more. You cannot imagine what Mugabe did for the liberation of South Africa. I'm not from Zimbabwe myself; I'm from DRC Congo, but I was born in the end of the 1960s and I know something bout the liberation struggle in Africa.

It is not in SA’s interests to take sides in the global contest between super powers. The Indian example is worth looking at.

Is it not interesting that the discussion is so focused on the problems of other countries where South Africa is or should be playing a hero whilst we are miserably failing here at home. Corruption and the raising cybercrime violate South Africans' human rights. The NDP 10-year review report is very clear on the human rights failures. Does South African human rights matter? Charity must begin at home

Unathi, you call Mark C a colonizer, but all the 'white' panelists are not excluded due to them being colonists? Or do people just get called colonists if they dare to question the preferred narrative in any discussion??@@unathimichaelmxaku8105
