It’s been two years since this trailer was made but I’m glad people still keep in their minds that show! A season 3 is my biggest idle fantasy I admit.

@@williamalfonso1373 yeah, but it was to leave the show open for a season 3. Original ending for S2 was suppose to be more conclusive (although very open ended).

Such an under appreciated series. Batman/Tranzor Z. Sometimes hard to follow, and the ending just left me with blue balls. A continuation please?

I heard that Hideaki Anno himself will NOT allow Neon Genesis Evangelion (the series & its movies) to be released outside of Japan (except for the Rebuild of Evangelion movies from Funimation) until the last Rebuild of Evangelion movie is released, which should be sometime next year.

It is the opening used in the most recent Japanese airing of the show, which was the HD airing in 2007

They had to stop using the original intro as far back as 2007 because they didn't want the estate of Freddy Mercury to sue them into oblivion Everything else is the same, and it's the same artist, it's just that now it sounds like the Kinks instead of Queen lol
