Ken was the biggest winner of the season 2 buff patch bruh. Ken going untouched in the most ungodly buff known, it shows that capcom is fine leaving Ken how he is 😭😭😭

Ryu is the type of character who spends 2 drive bars to chip one drive bar from his opponent. I get the sentiment that idom said about moves being -3 being perfect parry bait, but tbh i feel like a special move like hashogeki should not leave you so minus in front of your opponent's face. Hashogeki is a good frame trap, but if your opponent doesnt press a button, then all of a sudden, ryu is the one who is in a mix up for attempting it. It's so weird

Thanks for the video! And I have a noob question. When you guys were discussing knee being -3 bring to strong why is this. Why is -3 on that move in particular so strong? Any explanation is greatly appreciate from anyone, thank you all ❤

-3 means that it can no longer be punished by jabs if not spaced properly. It also means that on a drive rush, gief is +1 so he retains his turn. It used to be -4 if not spaced before meaning it was able to be punished.

@brokendreams7442 Also, if you tap parry and they happen to push a 4 frame light on the first possible frame, you will always get a perfect parry.

I'm good with eating the Ed super because it takes a bit of skill and combos get dropped. Rashid is suffocating

@@YunisRajabyeah that’s the difference. If you mess up rashids setup, you still get the instal tornado to buff a mixer or eagle spike and a tonne of + frames. Ed doesn’t get as great a reward

My personal top 5 Season 2 biggest buffs: 1- Ryu. 2- AKI. 3- Zangief. 4- Rashid. 5- Cammy.

Cammy got better meterless damage but almost completely lost her anti-projectile game. Definitely not one of the big winners of the patch

They hurt my Guile wake up super on close range fireballs! they made it so fireballs can beat it now so I don’t use it anymore

Good. Guile was top 5 before, and nothing big happened to him. His boom drive gauge damage even got buffed, cause reasons.

The thing with Ed is those level 2 combos aren't easy Kizzie doesn't state how difficult and situational Ed's level 2 combos are compared to literally every other character in the game.

@Puntersnatch yeah I know still doesn't change the fact that Ed has the most difficult combos in the game currently. Only thing that's changed is the placing dependent started nows it's more consistent but you still only have a 2 frame for heavy blitz to start the desync on the 5k damage route not to mention the manual timing for all special moves that follow

Its always someone who mains characters talking this mess. The proof is in the results giefs globally are performing way better. I still don't think he's top tier tho.
