The Fed has realized losses of about 2% of their assets and 4x their total capital. From table 5 of the most recent H.4.1 release: Other liabilities and accrued dividends (containing remittances owed to the Treasury): -$155,544 million Total capital: $43,140 million Total assets: $7,430,172 million Losses/assets: 0.021 What does it mean when $1 is by definition 98¢? Idk. But I can answer the question "what does it means when the par value of the dollar is dropping off a cliff?": debasement.

Quinn invited us to roast Tyler, but I have nothing worthy to offer on that score. Tyler is just too cool, despite the first name. He deserves props for overcoming the handicap his cruel parents fell into with horrible 1980s baby naming trends. At least he isn't a Trevor! My only complaint about this iteration of Blockworks Macro is the strong smell of Quinn's cologne that I can smell right through the TV.

It's been dumping and pumping in this range for ages! It's technically just going sideways, sideways means generally stagnant. More emphasis should be put into day trading, as it less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. Trading has been going smooth for me as I managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Tobias Hawke, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Eth is up 30%ish ytd, was up 75% last year, and bottomed 6 months ahead of everything post ftx in 2022, otherwise it's 2023 yearly gain would of looked like bitcoins. It's been a great add to any portfolio as long as you don't go on crypto Twitter cess pool

Great show. A must in my weekly rotation. However, do find the casual discussion of voting based on one issue rather disturbing. Of course one shouldn't. One should vote based on all the issues. There is no "stable-coins" It is either a world wide unmutable, digital token with the trading history/price discovery able to find a stable price like gold. Or all the rest is just fiat, bank credit dressing up like block chain. To me nothing else than Bitcoin is in sight of achieving this. Probably will take 10 to 20 years though.
