Yeah I agree. Diehard Fallout and ES fan and I couldn’t even finish Starfield. Blew my mind.

@@LunarLegendsGthey were headed in the right direction with Far Harbor … but Starfield doubled down on all the worst parts of fallout 4. They keep trading away player agency for accessibility with each new game and it’s just too shallow now

@@d-risky4994 totally agree. I went back and played a hit of morrowind and it felt really good to have as much agency as that game gives you.

Doubled edge sword. They should announce games when they are ready. Also the multiple delays of Cyberpunk didn’t save that game from its release.

Yeah definitely. I’m iffy on Greedfall because of the early access stuff, but I’m hopeful.

@@LunarLegendsG oh I plan to wait for final release, I never play early access games. But final will hopefully be better thanks to the wider tester base.

It's also ridiculous because the only "black samurai" that they jeep trying to base this character off of was a house servant that they dressed up in samurai clothes and laughed at. The "African samurai" is complete fiction. Make an African game instead of trying to insert Africans into everything else.

@@calebh101 100% I didn't know that about the supposed African Samurai. It's been made out to seem like he was an actual Samurai. I have absolutely no problem playing as a ethnicity that differs from my own but I'm sick of this DEI (I call it DIE) thats being force-fed in all mediums. As I said, I'd find it just as dumb if they made an African setting Assassins Creed game and one of they playable characters was a pasty white dude. I'm just sick of it and not enough people are willing to speak out about it in fear of being called all the various ists and phobes that are so casually thrown around these days. If a story and setting naturally includes various ethnicities then no problem but they try to force diversity in every single situation even when it's a period piece. I remember when that movie named The Northman was announced and the trailers released there were articles complaining about the "lack of diversity" in it when it's set in a time and place where seeing anyone but white people was insanely unlikely. Unfortunately it'll only continue to get worse because of the type of people who end up in these industries as well as companies basically being forced to include a DEI department or else their rating be lowered. I remember when the God of War sequel Ragnoroc came out and they added a black character for absolutely no lore legitimate reason. They could have at least tried to explain it in some way but nope, they decided that the game wasn't diverse enough. I mean, if they would have just said something like: she was a god from a land far away and ended up here somehow and took over for the previous god of that name then it wouldn't have been much of an issue for me considering how Kratos isn't from their either but no, no reason given. They just decided they would force that in and Unfortunately a lot of people who claim to be against such things said nothing because it was God of War. People lack conviction these days. I still haven't played it and the first one was one of my all-time favs. The only way we can change the way these companies do things is by not buying their products. I don't care if a game is amazing. I will not support it if they make decisions like that. Sorry for the rant.

Yeah I did. But, I will say that I’m super into Greek mythology, so the setting really appealed to me. Also I don’t do the collector stuff, I just play the story and side missions. Makes it much more enjoyable.
