That no let for Sherbini at the end is really harsh in my opinion. Textbook let.

[EDIT: I was wrong about this, it was the commentators who thought 8:42 was a stroke] El Hammamy is right to complain about the situation at 11:59. At 11:59, she gets a let in a situation where she makes a full effort to play the ball and El Sherbini makes basically zero effort to clear. At 8:42, El Sherbini gets a stroke in a situation where El Sherbini makes very little effort to play the ball and El Hammamy makes a desperate effort to clear. In both cases, the opponent is not in the way of the actual swing. The refs need to take a hard look at what they are doing in the 8:42 situation. That shouldn't be a stroke. Closer to a no let for boxing in the opponent and lack of effort, but players are regularly getting strokes there at the moment.

Classic commentary moment at 15:47 where Johnny says El Sherbini would have played that ball against any less dangerous opponent, immediately after the commentators agreed that the 14:48 decision was correct as a safety let.
