I was not sold on the new lighting at first, but Crisis City and the Shadow Rival Battle convinced me. Just, DAMN. Crisis City in particular looks straight out of P-06. And giving Sonic his Unleashed jump and homing attack was a straight up improvement. Dex and the other modders have really outdone themselves this time. Absolutely stellar.

For a 10th anniversary celebration of Sonic Generations, seeing this game being reworked would have been a truly unique gaming experience for everyone. Everything seems revamped which makes things even better.

Not really a fan of the lightning sometimes I think it looks a bit weird (in Crysis City for example) I'll try it myself, also not a fan of the Boost sound effect it sounds cool but anmoying imo I would prefer the old one. But the new boost, cameras, etc.. are very good.

Sonic modders are great at making small things different just for the sake of being different

what is that boost sound it feels like it has no impact with the original it feels like youre actually boosting, it was perfectly fine also not sure why sky sanctuarys music was changed to a more rock version it really doesnt suit it with the original they were trying to keep the feel of the original while still reimagining it while this version is good it really doesnt have that feel ah yes, youre boosting through this lonely but grand i know sonic is known for being like, rock, but jesus you dont need to have every song be rock

The lighting is cool, though I don’t really get the point of making Sonic faster. I mean it’s not like Sega couldn’t make him faster, they chose not to because the original speed is just perfect. Making him faster just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
