Having experienced "the dream" on a smaller scale during the pandemic for a brief moment IRL when WHSmith were clearing out 2010s era Lego stock... I am officially jealous you got to live it on a much vaster array. Props to the guys especially at Singapore for having that much to begin with.

Mark my words : there is proof in this video that Chris and Rob won Lego Masters. You can make fun of me later if i'm wrong but i'm a specialist of body langage, non verbal communication, alien alienation and all that BS ! At 14.35 Chris doesn't want to accept Sam's gift, not only because it's a polite way to answer but also because he won the 100k and had a huge collection compare to Sam, so it's a little "odd" that way. Nontheless a very kind and nice gesture from Sam to his new friend Chris. Ps : video is brick convention 2023.

My one Bionicle dream is just to get a hold of one classic Takanuva set and a Takua with Pewku set. And I’ve seen how much those go for, so I know it’ll be… a really long time before that happens 😅

Be careful with sets from 2008 onwards. The plastic was very breakable, compared to previous years, specifically from the 2008 sets.

I’m reminded of the time I bought all six Toa Mahri from someone I knew in high school. He had a few duplicates meaning I was able to get a sealed copy of Hahli and Matoro, so my Hahli has very few cracked joints. He also had Lesovik, though that one clearly sat on a shelf in the sun for a few years as it was caked in dust and thoroughly cracked. Fortunately still able to support its own weight, but seeing that sealed Lesovik makes me so jealous. The Mahri have easily the worst canister package design, which is a shame as I feel they’re one of the best canister waves set-wise. I actually own that Chima board game. It’s terrible, and it did not at all improve my view of that theme after it’d made such a poor first impression.
