The Solar System is our vast and diverse planetary system, which houses eight large planets, including one which gave rise to life. While humanity was born too late to witness the events that occurred at the birth of the Solar System first-hand, by peering into the systems of others stars, we are starting to piece together the events that unfolded. Today, we shall explore the culmination of these decades of research, as we tell the story of the birth of the Solar System.

“9/10 sleep doctors recommend SEA” Edit: For posterity’s sake, and to the SEA community, I wrote this comment in good faith and with high honor to the author. Not all received it well and in hindsight, I can see why. So to those that read this as a jab, and of course to our beloved SEA, I sincerely apologize. Love the space docs, always a treat. Keep up the good work dude!

This is true on some level, but in a good way, and I hope the creator does not take offense. I love these videos, because he digs right into how vast, unknown and sublime the universe around us, is. I would have hated it if the narration was rushed, jokey, overflowing or hyperbolic. It is just a calm, concentrated voice narrating the void, and as far as I'm concerned, this is perhaps the closest I will ever be to experiencing how space "feels" from my earthbound position. Rumination anchored in hard science. Brilliant!

I love how you consider the planets as "siblings." Really brings to light how much you're into astronomy, and your focus on the planets. Ever since I started watching you, I have also begun to consider the planets as siblings, because from a certain extent it's true. A lot of scientists sometimes call Jupiter, Earth's big brother because of it's immense gravity that it uses to shepherd stray asteroids and comets. I like to call Earth and Venus, "the Terrestrial Twins," while I call Uranus and Neptune, "the Ice Twins."

I'm glad they're currently dead barren worlds. As such in colonising them we have to focus on growing our own eden worlds. If they were life bearing at a similar age, I can imagine that we'd end up with 3 trashed worlds right now.

Also if they had life, intelligent life, we would probably either b at war with 1/both, b conquered by 1/both or have ourselves conquered 1 or both of them. We r a violent, greedy species. Its sadly logical 2 think that other intelligent life would also b this way.
@Nemenis
@Nemenis 2 жыл бұрын
scariest part is no planets can harbor water/life at the same time. meaning if venus and mars still had water, it would be millions of years apart. Imagine intelligent life on both planets where they are millions of years ahead of us..
@nutyyyy
@nutyyyy 2 жыл бұрын
@@Nemenis If they were then they'd likely have colonised the Earth long ago. It's very unlikely any of the three planets would have unrelated life on them. Whatever planet had life first would seed the others with life. However its looking very unlikely that Venus ever had oceans. More recent models show it would have been far too hot from the beginning to ever have liquid water since all the water would remain as vapour. Its slow rotation made this even worse. So basically it looks like Venus never had any oceans and couldn't have.

Been a minute since I’ve commented but your content is genuinely fantastic. Voiceover, editing, music, I don’t even care about space but your videos are still able to hold my attention for half hours at a time. Im glad you found a pocket on KZfaq that fits you better

I recently found this channel, and I have to say it is truly amazing. The presentation, information, and topics are just so enticing. Also, as I read comments, I found out other people experienced what I did, which is that these videos are great at putting someone to sleep. NOT because they are boring, in fact this is some of the most interesting stuff I've watched, but becuase just the overall tone is so nice and relaxing. When first watching, I found myself both drawn in, and very sleepy the first time I watched. Gotta say, this channel is truly amazing, and I'm very happy I found it. Space is so beautiful and mysterious
