Gauche and his sister love was played up heavily in the anime, in the manga it isn’t that bad and he doesn’t say 75% of the creepy stuff and it’s explained he gets nosebleeds when he feels intense care for someone shown when he was trying to find a way to fix asta’s arms with gordon, basically in the manga what he says about his sister is just worded weirdly for the joke but in the anime they flat out just made him creepier

One thing I love about this show is how all the main cast get strong and none get thrown to the side as power scaling gets higher

It occurred to me after a while what the Black Bulls actually were. Where as the golden dawn where the 'heroes of the realm', the shining examples of good (despite not being) the black bulls were...black ops. On the power scale, they are actually equal though its not obvious. They were known as brutes but also never failed missions. They were the ones sent to do the dirt work.

Asta and Noelle have come ridiculously far since the beginning... I had no idea they were that powerful. Very informative video!

Magna should get more credit. He is crafty but had to actually learn about runes. Something we never see him do. He adopted to this academic approach and created a attack that utilises his grit which Might be only second to Asta

Saw someone comment below that the black bulls were the black ops of the clover kingdom and it makes perfect sense since multiple members are considered outcasts and misfits which makes them perfect for black ops

The Dante fight was crazy, I remember when Asta was talking to his stupid feet to move, then Yami called for help, he had some flashbacks got him back up...I AM READY!

I think Black Clover is a manga that embodies the aspect of "Anti-Meta is the true Meta" more than any other. People that have anti-magic capabilities should be stronger than anyone else based on the fact that everyone uses magic. Someone like Noelle is incredibly powerful but people that have anti-magic spells are much stronger, as long as their magic isn't limited by circumstantial technicalities. For instance, portal magic is incredibly powerful if used to its utmost ability, as it can redirect offensive magic. Grey's magic can transmute others'. Charmy's can "cook" that magic. Asta however, has a cloak that makes him immune to all, making him the strongest of all, unless the opponent overpowers him in physical combat despite that.

I am surprised you ranked Gauche last. His mirror brigade can be great in support, since he can make copies of himself or others. That is the good thing though, because a lot of the characters that might be considered weak are great support characters.

Charmy is one of two in the clover kingdom that has multiple magic types (if you don’t count the captain of the golden dawn as he isn’t being inhabited by an elf anymore) there are however at least two other characters that have crystal and fire magic over in the diamond kingdom

To add, mars and his lady friend (can’t remember her name) can use fire and mineral magic. Also, for manga readers, asta hasn’t mastered ki yet. He does have the basics down being able to sense and track ki and learning what he has in his current training arc, but I wouldn’t say he has mastered ki imo. yami meeting henry and then recruiting a bunch of powerful delinquents without telling anyone and asta is the first to find out because of his anti-magic, and yami didnt know asta had no magic when he brought him in i cry everytime

Gauche creeped me out too, but after the whole 'his nose bleeds for ASTA too' thing it's clearly not romantic, he just has some weird quirk that makes him bleed when he thinks of someone he cares about. Is it still weird? Yes, but if you look past the original weirdness of it he's pretty cool

All of Noelle vs Vanica fights Are all my favorite battles i the series that also includes Acier vs Young Vanica which reveals a lot of Lore. And the BAtte of Migicula is one and of the fight in Manga that had a 1 in a1 million percent chance of winning. And I love that similar to Team Tengen vs Upper Moon siblings in Demon slayer. THat a every OP opponent is too Powerful for the Mc to deal that even teamwork from powerful allies was not enough so plot armor had to step in and the plot armor in the Battle of Megicula is you can say Cliche but I think it's epic.

Asta gets such a boost after he trains in the land of the rising sun. Perfect devils union, perfect Ki and semi-perfect Zetten user, and can even give others his anti-magic capabilities. Probably won't see that in the anime for 3-4 years but man it's going to be so good when it happens.

personally i think Gauche is doing less of the sister love thing, he doesn't make a big deal of talking about her as much either. so i believe its character development in the right direction. same for asta being not as yell this and yell that cause he talks soft as well now.

The only thing that upsets me about the teleporter and the black bulls is that he didn't really think outside the box so he's able to teleport to places or teleport to things that he has seen. Then you should meet someone that has like a image ability and ask him to show him the bottom of the ocean. Since he went to the ocean nation he can make a portal out in the middle of the water in a deepest part he can see. I sent you making a water cannon that can destroy anything when you opens up a gateway down there. Or someone maybe a vision magic and he sees bars. He can make them look straight up. See space now in century. Has a gateway to space itself opening up on someone either kill them by sending them to the space or flash freezing them but open up space in front of their face.

I freaking love gordon, possibly my favorite (non fight) scene in the whole anime is when he goes back to reconcile with his family and learn his dad's powerful curse magic that he just knows his family uses to "make money" and he assumes he is an assassin or torturer or something, and he goes into his evil looking dungeon with chains hanging on the walls, and his dad reveals that he is just a doctor, and like, a really good one. Like the whole family is just as nice as Gordon and all they want to do is help people too, they're just goth and scary. I just imagine Gordon's dad being like "hang on, for your entire life, you have thought that I, your father, was a homicidal masochistic monster, and you didn't think that even warrented a conversation? Not even one follow up question? Were you OK with that?" Like that is kind of more telling about gordon than his dad, his dad. He kept saying he wanted to teach him his magic to take over the family business, I feel like there had to be a lot of wild assumptions on Gordon's part for him to make it to that age and not realize that his dad is a doctor and not, in fact, a literal torturer. I know they're creepy, but come on man, not one "how was work today?" or "hey, what was up with that painful scream that shook the floor boards earlier?" or "hey dad, are you torturing people in your study, because it really seems like you are?" Where his dad could have responded with the VERY simple answer of "I'm a doctor, people come to me BECAUSE they are in pain, and then I help them" I mean Jesus, if I was his dad I would be offended that my son would ever think that.

I feel like your ranking was right but tbh I feel like Finral is so far from his true potential. Imagine someone is going to attack him with a stab/punch/rasengan etc. What if he at the last second opens a portal directly in front of the attack and another facing his opponent so they effectively hit themselves. I think he could also use his ability more like Minato used FTG, though he did that a bit but needing to be thrown first. I'd like to see him surround himself in portals so that he's effectively untouchable and when hit him from any angle just hit the enemy from another angle.
