The First African Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia, was founded in 1773 and is one of the first Black run institutions on record in the United States.

I love God ! He has separated his worshippers by race. They fear eachother and are violent towards eacthother. Absolutely beautiful.

My father's church. Sang at his funeral in 2019. Having been raised in Connecticut, I didn't know the history, but I did meet the pastor.

I prefer Black churches and have attended them since my teens.

How do I get my Mom a history search and information about her Father. She's in her 80's and I have been doing most of the research with little success. I've seen Mr. Gates on TV several times and my Mom really liked the show. Who do I contact for her? Thank you for sharing this profound work.
