@@defiantspirit8512 It's not just these days, it's always been a problem with the trailers in the USA. I think it's Brian De Palma who said in 2002 something like : "People expect a trailer to make them wanna go find out about the movie ; but American people expect a trailer to tell them all about the movie they're gonna see, because they don't want any surprise that might disappoint them, they wanna know for sure what they're paying for". That's why he was absolutely thrilled and excited when they showed him the French trailer of his Femme Fatale, saying : "As usual, it's so much better than the American trailer !"

But, a dog gets ripper apart and you are feeling uneasy. What a disgrace. Might as well identify oneself as a dog moving forward than as a human being.

If I don't watch the trailer I don't know if a movie can o can't intrigue me BUT if a trailer, like this, gives away like 90% of the plot what is the point of spending money and see something that I already know how it goes? I thought we had no where to go once Sharknado was released (Shark Tornados). I just learned they made 5 sharknado sequels. FIVE! Clearly we have a long way to go. How about miniature, fresh water adaptable sharks in the water supply? Shark-Tapular. Terrorist sharks, Transgendered sharks. Gangbanging Sharks from the Hood that get around in cars with aquariums installed in the back with DVD screens like on pimp my ride.

Don't be so harsh on that loving family man. Disney land can be done by anyone. And as kid's expectation are higher today (especially if they have to provide content for their TikTok accounts) you need something outstanding to catch their attention. So what would be better than an ancient, demon-like shark with ill-intentions and chasing for your life as well as a swim-for-you-life in oil polluted salt water without proper protection gear competition?

It's just climate activism in movie form. Here's the moral of the story- humans are destroying the planet and the only way to make it better is for people to die. There ya go. What i really loved is the fact that not just he bring his family but he didn't wear any PPE when coming to that rig. Not to mention using a normal boat. I know the oil rig is abandoned but who knows there might be a H2S gas sudden release when it was abandoned since no maintenance was done or any other potential dangerous present on that rig. Yeah, of course what else would it be...a megalodon home sweet alabama.

I think him going "Hellllloooooo?!?, ANYBODY?" and then asking "Where the hell is everybody?" means he wasn't expecting the rig to be abandoned. It's a trailer barely over 2 minutes long and you're already lost as to what's going on, maybe stick to reading 4 panels comic strips, probably more in line with your mental attributes.

He just mentioned that as for the safety when coming to the rig not COMPLAINING about it like why he come to that rig without PPE bla bla bla. It's just a comment but why are u so butt hurt about it? you're already lost as to what he's talking about. Maybe stick to eating some popcorn, probably more in understanding with your mental attributes.

Paramount has their... would imply that you don't know its gender but it does not have one (gramatically speaking it is neuter) and it really does not matter here. This type of structure would work in a context like "A student lost their bag" - the student can be either gender, the speaker does not know. I hope it helped :)

Tlaloc was the Aztec God of water and fertility, and was said to have power over storms. His name means "He who makes things grow". He was depicted wearing a mask with large eyes, fangs, and green skin. He is associated with such animals as the jaguar, owl, snake, quetzal bird, and butterfly. Not sure why anyone would associate a shark with Tlaloc. I mean, sure, sharks live in water, but Tlaloc was a life-giving god, and sharks are predators and associated with taking life away. Tlaloc was also not a demon, at least not to the Aztecs (ancient Mexicans). He was not evil, but at the same time, he was not entirely benevolent.

Feels like I just saw the whole movie. The only thing missing is how it dies. I'm guessing they blow it up somehow with the oil rig. Great movie!

it's common. but you shouldnt be afraid as it's very specific how it hunts. it only kills people that eat nachos and guacamole within 2 hrs of hitting the beach

Id reccomended Everything everywhere all at once. It uses a lot less cgi than it feels like it did. Mostly good costume design, editing, and practical effects.

Even if it’s like most other shark movies with similar dialogue I don’t mind I’d still watch it. Any excuse to watch a shark movie with a big scary shark I’ll take, they’re fun to watch in my opinion. Also the story of going to an oil rig as a family is kind’ve original so that’s cool, but even if it isn’t original I’ll still enjoy it. I understand some people don’t feel the same way but hey that’s just my opinion :)
