I’ve always loved this scene to start the movie because of the way it introduces the mafia. Bonasera has a perception of them that is a caricature, common from the outside world: ruthless and greedy gangsters that can be paid to do dirty work. This is shown by Bonasera’s focus on money. Corleone puts all those stereotypes to rest. Offended that he might be seen as a paid murderer, he aims instead for Bonasera’s loyalty and respect, lamenting that he must compete with the government and police to do so. It shows not only Bonasera, but us, the audience, what the mafia really is about. Just a perfect scene to start the movie.

Call me crazy, but I think that after IF drops, we’re gonna get the Sonic 3 trailer. So at max 4 days we’ll get the trailer. If I’m wrong… womp womp.
