@@sans1843 I meant in the original defense of the ancient war, and later too. He told Kiljaden he was going to recruit for the burning legion, but turned out he was also training demon hunters to fight them

Problem with that is that there is no updated Lich King model. The only reason this trailer was possible is because Legion was so demon centered and Illidan returned, which is why he and most characters related to him got upgraded models. Take a good look at Kael'thas in this trailer and you'll see it's still the same low poly TBC model. I believe for the close up at 2:38 he used a clever trick by using an updated blood elf player model, but that only worked there because you can't see his gear.

Yeah considering the use of WoD Gul'Dan, trying to find a way to use Karabor and the past version of Shadowmoon Valley would've been nice, since they're canonically how they look now, even if that version was a different timeline.

yeah for the cinematic, back in the day they also only changed the ambient lighting, as there was no "uncorupted Karabor" zone

@@TonyNumber9 Allow me to politely disagree. Saying that BFA is "Best Lore" is almost nearly heretic, when we had TBC and Arthas with WotLK. While BFA... well, i guess at least it makes Sylvanas fandomship happy.

Alot people that think BFA lore is crap are those never read books and knowledge characters well enough if it is no quest text, normally people like wotlk is through warcraft 3 gameplay and then wow through vanilla to wotlk we get hints then final fight against arthas

No he wouldn’t have. Legion was a mistake, and I’m surprised at the sheer number of BC fans who ate up an expansion that retconned the only plot of BC.

You do realize the "plot" of TBC was all over the place, yeah? There was next to no consistent story. They re-wrote TBC because it didn't make much sense. I believe even Blizzard admitted that TBC was a mistake in the lore.

GGTeMpLaR incorrect. In Warcraft 3, Illidan’s arc was that he wanted to show his brother that the demons had no control over him...so he became a demon and was cast out for it. Not sure which part of that screams “he is the chosen one, destined to destroy the Legion and bitchslap the holy light with his dick #hailvoidlords” BC may not be my favorite expansion, but making illidan the villain was the second logical conclusion from The Frozen Throne (the most obvious being that he was dead, either from being pwned by a human or being slain by his master for his failure - fuck Legion, there was no “grand overarching plan”, he wanted power, Kil’jaeden offered him power, and he didn’t care if he broke the world and created the Forsaken in the process, he wanted power).

Ilidan isn't bad tho. In fact he's probably the only real hero in the Warcraft lore. Something something sacrifice.. something sacrifice

He already DID remaster of the Wrath Gate , you should all chek that out! Its astonishing work !

They still don't know. I find it funny how they waste time on cloak designs when every sane person just hides their cloak anyway due to it clipping through arms, weapons, legs, mounts - basically everything.

Yeah they almost gave us something awesome with alliance warfront cape but they chickened out of making an interesting cloak.

@@Shiirow It was used quite actively with the opening of AQ (raid) gates. I was there when I saw the reputation content. It actually was some serious "endgame" stuff to farm/kill in a fairly big zone. Fun bosses to summon from gear you collected.
