Hi Wyatt, i really like your reports and watch them daily. There's just one thing that somehow disturb me. I'm not russian-ukrainian speaking myself but it disturbs me that most commentators call Kostjantinivka (both of them) with an n. It's pronounced more like Cost-yan-tinivca. You're staring at tea leaves again. Command and control in urban environments is dicey enough as it is - yet one geolocation is enough? The situation on the ground has probably rendered this assessment already obsolete at best. It's 1197 kilometres from Donetsk to Lvov. So if the Russians continue at their present rate, they might occupy Ukraine in approximately 2 1/2 *decades*. Tankies simply do not understand the limitations of military power because most of them think both sides are playing an RTS game; no understanding of logistics whatsoever. The Russians can't achieve an operational breakthrough 20 kilometres from the international border - how do you all think they are going to manage with an extra 1000km worth of supply lines? Just for all the jingoists in the comments, just remember that each time you watch a little battlefront analysis, for each one of those, 100 dudes like yourselves are probably dead. Didn't want to be there, can't get out, only choice is to go forward and get dismembered by a 6 dollar robot carrying a 120 dollar grenade. There's no afterlife, there's no 2move, just you running before a shell, bullet or grenade turns you into coldmeat.

It's not about territory now, it's about people. This isn't a large scale offensive, this is still attritional war. The front line moves when the people from the other side are depleted and they retreat to worse positions. Then they are depleted again and retreat again to even worse positions. And again and again. The end result isn't a land grab, but that there's no one to left fight. Hence the ongoing mobilization. Ukraine doesn't have 2 decades. They have around 1 million of untrained and unwilling civilians left to mobilize by force out of a country of 44 million before the war

42 countries all over the world supply ukraine with infinite money and weaponry, while russia, isolated from the world, still grinds the largest nation in europe(apart from russia) to capitulation ? ukraine is not iraq or afghanistan where the biggest threat to soldiers are flip flop taliban forces. this is the first war where more or less modern opponent battles against another modern opponent. also not mentioning, ukraine gets all the benefit of having the best satellites , spy planes, surveillance aircraft on their side like global hawk etc. and not having to fear them being shot down. YET THEY STILL MOVE WESTWARDS

I just hope Russia achieves its strategic goals before winter, god forbid Ukraine wants to go an other round lol, there is a great chance negotiations could happen to cement those strategic goals of Russia, but I am also aware of prophecy….they will talk peace while preparing for war, the preparations have already begun…..the peace talks are coming soon….Russia should be aware any peace talks is forced because of conditions on the ground (battlefield), potential peace talks could just be stalling tactic……
