I thought I was the only one who saw guts and blackpowder like this Instead of seeing everyone as players I see them as the Napoleonic war soldiers fighting against a sudden infection to live, seeing something scarier than the plague, forced to be brave enough to fight or face a horrifying end I feel like a nerd now

I love this, its good. Even though G&B may not seem as scary, the concept of it is terrifying. To be in a world where society has barely started to advance all over the world, and than a cannibalistic disease from hell consumes all whom is bitten or scratched unless by a blessing from a priest which can clear it. What I love most, is how gruesome JMT portrays this world. Cause in all honestly, its nothing less than that.

jean is believed to escape via a carriage btw, jean and his artillery team were meant to get on the ferrymen's boat but jean sent them out to rescue them. With the consequence of that, his artillery team unfortunately dies though

My theory about jean is: Jean was probably the last one to leave Paris, while his regiment was early to leave.

Imagine this: you are a civilian in Leipzig who is in the church And the blight infection starts. Some people fall to the ground dead just to stand up a few seconds later to gnaw on some flesh What do you do? Do you run for your life Are you gonna risk it to be the hero? But whatever it doesn't matter as almost every unarmed citizen would be dead by day 2 of the infection

5:59 Since the beginning, I must have seen thousands of soldiers die in grotesque ways. I've heard men screaming in dying agony to cannibals ripping out their guts in mere seconds or being charred to death. but jmt managed to make my soul leave my body in just five seconds with that scene.

If I had a nickel for every time an old-timey zombie outbreak was called 'The Blight', I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but weird that it happened twice. One is Guts & Blackpowder. The other is a game on Steam that isn't out yet called Blight: Survival. (It's a Medieval zombie apocalypse)

I love how they invent analog devices in 1812 purely for the purpose of atmosphere.

I cany believe Wikilius, the mascot of the official G&B wiki time traveled into the future to steal a VHS camera just so he can document the blight for us

Zachariah 14: 12 perfectly explains how this came to be, with priests being able to teach soldiers the word of god to allow them to repent for their sins and be seen as holy, causing the blight to be repelled from their being.

1st, absolutely amazing video dude, I'm floored. 2nd, I'm a MASSIVE fan of the letter directed to the Hougoumont soldiers. "To the forces at Hougoumont, best of luck and good day." alone is extremely powerful. An entire group of who knows how many, slowly being picked off one by one by the horrors sent by god. They fight side by side, knowing it's a loss seeing the never ending horde, even in their last hour they still wish the best and a good day to those who were more fortunate that day. 3rd. In the official timeline the US is only involved due to a trade deal taking place, HOWEVER I think it's much more funny to think that Sleepy Hallow is canon. At some random point as the blight is absolutely ravaging Europe, a group of Marines in the States just fucking stumbles into The Headless Horseman and the dead he raises. Seeing as they defeat him and no other shamblers rise, it wouldn't affect any of the current story. Ah yes, the blight impacting the world, completely demolishing Europe but the States... oh no.. they get the Headless Horseman and a few zombies he summons

Man, this is the kind of analog horror I love, no jumpscares, no random loud noises, it just sends that chilling feeling through your body. Also you included actual things from the game.

G&B is such an interesting game, it gives you the feeling of hopelessness in a scenario on where you get to fight countless amounts of zombies during the Napoleonic wars and the scenario that all of us people did something very horrible that God punished us with an infectious disease where humanity can cease to exists and clean Earth’s sins once and for all. i wish game theory would make a theory about G&B like what they did to doors

I hope the developers add some lore as to what is going on in Asia and Africa. Has the blight spread there yet? Did they modernize early? What about the east India company? Do they know what’s happening?

seeing how much destruction the blight causes in the Napoleonic era makes me wonder how would the Bligh fare on other eras like ww1 and ww2 were there are things like machine guns that would probably moll down a horde with ease

I admit when i first saw the sections which displayed soldiers getting torn apart by the dead with the audio and video effects were cool, but it honestly did creep me out. P.s: the part with the distorted soldier's face with the text: "The vision of him kicking and screaming still echoes clearly" reminded me of the Mandela Catalog, Good job.

So, in my thoughts, the idea of this video is like, someone is watching a VCHS tapes of documentary about the guts and blackpowder infection, and somehow humanity managed to destroy the plague but the left overs of the infection were haunting humanity, some of the best scientists from the start of 20th century decided to study the events of that infection a bit, after finding all the notes, all the hints and signs of previous ongoing infection, scientists began their hard research. After a lot of years, this VCHS tape appeared which we're watching right now, that's just a theory but I'd like to know the answer from JMTRBX (if it's possible of cource) Edit:alright lads, how the hell did this blow up? This was a very good lore video, i was never looked the g&b like this. The psychology of the people are so great make. They know theres nothing but the dead. Like the dead horse note they feeling and knowing the dead that much they just saying good luck... In the end all of them trying their best to be alive as long as they can..
