G'day Royal, I also am completely addicted to this game I'd be willing to say it's the best in the genre . Liberating towns is fun and rewarding but defending one's to the far south takes huge amounts of resources basically building a whole town to act as a garrison for defense. Love the videos and love this game.

Best weapon pre blacksmith is the Mace, get that for all your one handers (blunt is still the best you just need a better blunt weapon), you'll need 11+ villagers for the first town good armor mace + shield doesnt need the best you can craft its alot of mats. First town get blacksmith, weaver, farmer *blacksmith first, second town *Padstow carpenter, woodsman *woodsman first, third town *I did Farnworth laborer, healer, innkeeper *laborer + innkeeper first farnworth was very hard to liberate i had 16 very well equiped and fed. For my strat, I used a hill to force the archers to my warparty.

The rugged axe will stun brigand level enemies and can be made without a skilled crafter, the mace is the best blunt weapon but won’t stun brigands but might want a few to quickly take out shields

I I get that this is two months old and all but I’d like to give commentary so I think the best thing to do is the form squad. You have an archer squad and a Milli squad and that way you tell your archer squad to hang back so that they can keep firing their arrows into the Milli, that are fighting stick close together but what do I know? I’ve been pounded so many times in my 13 days of playing.

Rule #1 if you go back to camp with empty pockets you have failed your village

You can build a tent a little away from the wheat field and stand on top and range them they cant fight back. Yes i cheesed them but they are extremely difficult to kill lol

It was very close and took a few reloads, but I liberated Haerding with a couple of archers and 5 gambesoned peasants in a shield wall. You can reach past with overheads in between gaps using a pitchfork.

Don't need to have a 2nd village hall, or a hall at all. You can make new settlements at anytime just by going to your building list and creating a new settlement group, simple as that.
